Dating: Let's be Honest

So... you're saying that the belief that women should have the same rights is a bad thing but women's rights is a good thing?
Come on, what you said makes no sense  but I'm listening if you care to clarify what you meant.

Which part were you not able to comprehend? Let's try this:
You said:
"Feminism is a bad thing. A very bad thing. Women's rights (equality) however, is a good thing. A very good thing."

I gave you the definition of feminism which is exactly the same as women's rights.
You disagreed with the Cambridge definition.

If you don't have answers, at least don't repeat back what people say to you like you did with me and just now with @chic .... makes ya look juvenile. You feeling okay today?

er...pardon me? I do have blue hair :ROFLMAO: . See avatar. LOL
I hope Tazx's_better_ half will forgive me for butting in but I'm fairly certain that it wasn't stated that everyone with blue hair is ..... well, you know ... but just that particular person is. You know, like all dogs have four legs but not all animals with four legs are dogs.

feminism noun
the belief that women should be allowed the same rights, power, and opportunities as men and be treated in the same way, or the set of activities intended to achieve this state
You mean like this below? ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

I don't know if it's Women's Rights, Feminism or whatever, But, I love holding the door for a woman, Holding her chair, Helping her with her coat,
Getting the car if the weather is inclement, Never letting her pay or, "chip in",
.......

PROF. JENKINS: Equity is Marxism re-branded

Enter the latest rebranding of Marxism: “Equity,” which many are inclined to embrace because it sounds good. It sounds, in fact, a lot like “equality,” a traditional American value. Some even conflate the two words, using them interchangeably.
But they are not the same. “Equality,” in our system, refers to equality before the law and equality of opportunity. “Equity” demands equal outcomes. Big difference.
Not only are the two words not synonymous, they are actually antithetical. In this fallen world, the only way to achieve “equity” is by ensuring that people are unequal, that they do NOT enjoy the same opportunities.

Would you describe your perception in the difference between feminism and women's rights?
Well yes, but I would prefer to explain it as the difference between feminism and equality between the sexes. After all, the idea of women's rights is to level men and women, ie. making them equal ...... equality.

I can go into specifics but the titles themselves ought to give us a clue to start with.
- Equality. Equality of what? Both men and women. Women's rights is to offset the rights men have enjoyed in abundance while women had less. Women's rights should offer women rights that give them rights equal to that of men.
- Feminism. It's all about women. Only women. The definition might be fine but that is not what we are experiencing. Women have always had certain rights that men were not given. Feminism IN PRACTICE wants to maintain those rights over men plus have all of the rights that men have. That is not equality.

This isn't a fruitful line of discussion. If it were, the issues would be settled long ago.

I suspect that societies have gone through this many, many times. For millennia if not far longer. It arises, gets insane, then brings about societal collapse. Then there is a long crawl back up (if it is survived at all) to the next iteration.

It is probably just something faced by any dimorphic-reproduction species that achieves intelligence anywhere. It could be the reason no intelligent competition (or neighbors) exists on Earth: all of the others eventually fell too far and never recovered.

I do not agree. The issues to be "settled" during this pseudo-experiment of feminism is already lost. The logic of morons have been tolerated in films such as "Being There" and social madness alongside transgenderism and the pronoun frenzy but it will drop out of fashion before very long. You say so yourself below:

That's one way to put it, yes.

I don't know if it's Women's Rights, Feminism or whatever,

But,
I love holding the door for a woman,
Holding her chair,
Helping her with her coat,
Getting the car if the weather is inclement,
Never letting her pay or, "chip in",
Etc,

and let's me enjoy those things.

I especially love holding her hand.
An old girlfriend had told me to stop opening her car door. It was a simple dating nicety, I thought.

it can be also seen as a "controlling' issue or a sign of subservience or weakness of sexes etc etc etc. Many women would suggest {I suggest} - "I demand to be equal and therefore includes the right to open my own car door"?

On a side note:

One gal kinda snickered when I opened her car door,
I got the message.

One gal, I asked if she minded that I held her chair,
She said yes, so I stopped.

After several lunches, one gal insisted on paying the bill.
I can't tell you how odd I felt standing there...

It also isn't what feminism means Nor what feminism in practice wants.
