I am so looking forward to watching this! It's been so long, I've kind of forgotten where they left off.Netflix just recently added season 6 of "Virgin River" and I'm binge watching it. I wallow in shame and self loathing over the realization that I am addicted to this sappy crapfest.

I want to catch than one. The De Medici family and their "rule" of France is fascinating. I had to learn a little bit about it when I took Art History for my art credit. I've forgotten it now so would probably love that series.
Me too. The candidates for life makeovers are great and the Vegas setting makes them even more interesting. We loved the episode with the former Vegas showgirl.
I watched the first season. One of these days I'll jump onto STARZ for a month to watch the second season. I tend to jump from one service to another after I have watched what I want to watch on a particular service.
Yeah, we do too. We just got STARZ for this and will jump into Paramount Plus/SHO for Dexter: Original Sin, which is a prequel to the original series. IMO the second season of The Serpent Queen is better than the first and the ending is incredible.
Great series and well done, all the male to male kissing was far over done, spoilt it for me!
It was recommended to me by a friend in Australia and I'm really enjoying it.
Yeah, we struggled through the first episode, then decided to bail. I got tired of the continuous gay scenes, both graphic and otherwise, and also the commando babes. Those tropes have gone on way too long.
IMO the sole draw for the series is the incomparable work of Kathy Bates. There's nothing much more of interest other than she. It's a squeaky clean network com/dram with rather antiseptic writing, although there is a fairly cute office squabble/romance between an employee couple that holds one's interest. It's nice to see Bo Bridges get some work, but his part is rather minor. So we'll watch to the end, but it's not a favorite.
I agree that she's really good in this. I'd never been "into" her before; don't think I saw much she was in. I love how she works that "old lady...invisible" thing to her advantage.
I sure didn't expect that twist at the end of the first episode. I'm liking it more than I expected to.
What also spoilt it was that the plot felt too familiar, borrowed.
I've just finished, Black Doves and can now say that I really enjoyed it. The soundtrack was good too. - Having said that, the story felt finished at the end and I don't know that I'd watch further seasons.
I really didn't find the movie to be funny, but more maudlin. I can relate to the issue with his mother, which is sad. I didn't like that they followed the trend of all the new stuff these days and severely overdid it with the F and MF words! But I think the point of how stereotyping has been prominent, in fact propagated by the entertainment industry was well taken. I wound up fast forwarding through some of it. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it !Cool! My father had the same name as a famous movie producer and actor. Does that count for anything?

My husband and I started watching Virgin River and didn't get past the second episode, but I know lots of people do like it. As for The Madness, we did watch that one and it was good. Just goes to show there is such a thing as being in the wrong place at the wrong time.I just finished up watching the newest season of Virgin River on Netflix. I can't wait for season 7 to come out. I think it's a great show with good acting and believable characters.
