To you Canadian members I'm sure this is old news, but I only just recently found out about this gem of a show a couple of months ago.
Produced from 2004 to 2009, it's called Corner Gas.
I had never even heard of it until one of our local PBS stations (we have three) started running the first season. I was all set to not like it, but after I laughed out loud for about the third time, I realized I'd found a new favorite TV show.
It's set in the fictional "middle of nowhere" town of Dog River, Saskatchewan and revolves around a gas station/convenience store and the cafe/coffee shop next door.
A truly witty, original and well written show with likeable characters you wish you were friends with.
You can stream every episode of every season for free on the Roku website, no special devices required, etc.
