Lllyn how was this last round of chemo?.. was it any more tolerable than the last. ?

I'm pleased for you that it's finished, and again, we can only hope and pray this is the last ! ..(y)

No-one's going to believe this..I'm finding it hard to believe myself..this has never happened before..

It's now 2.23pm... I was number 9 in the hospital phone queue after waiting for an hour and a half....... when suddenly a text came in on my mobile at 2.19pm..saying this.....

They must be short on help or short on sense! Either way , what a CJ! You know what that is. They do!

On my early walk around 6:50, it was 'balmy' outside temp was 35, as I walked around the building, though the sidewalks hadn't been snowplowed yet, just the driveway to the entrance of Gates . After breakfast I decided to take a long walk down the street to local co op{ am a member},needed couple items It usually takes me 20 min round trip but because of last night's snow fall it took me a bit longer, got back in 1/2hr The majority of the sidewalks were shoveled,a couple looked like they hadn't been shoveled at all
The sun came out this afternoon, took advantage of that walked around the building again
For dinner tonight, once again at 5:45 going to be in the dining room with Dale&his wife Barb, and another resident, Connie who I've mentioned before, very fond of her. She has lived here from the beginning in 2017 This will be the highlight of my day

Thank you @stretch5881 ! Never heard of it but I'll surely look into it. Mine is an auto-immune issue, comes and goes. Not all over, mostly arms. Thanks again.

I have heard great things about plantain but have never used it and forgot about it🫣. I was once forum acquainted with a person who swore by it and also used it as a topical medicinal for one of his horses, but I can’t remember what the issue was.

We hit 62(F) today, which is about 15 degrees above average. By Monday we are predicted to see a high of 23(F), lows in the single digits — NOT normal for my area 🥶🥶

I unloaded another 150 pounds of senior feed - 300# surely should last two horses for a day or two🙄🙄. Dogs have plenty of kibble and so do I. <—- Point being, I don’t plan on going out the drive until this “ artic blast” we aren’t used to, leaves town🤐🤐

Sitting in the hospital right now. Had an endoscopy for throat cancer today. I won't hear the results till discharge tomorrow, but the doctor told me before hand, we'll have a meeting with the cancer team next week. I think I needed the rest anyways. I am pretty positive and upbeat. Playing with everything.....lol.

Accomplished ordering last things I need to finish the backyard remodel.
Worked on new plans, finished writing some legal paperwork for signatures.
Made up a to do list for to do before listing both properties here in Tucson.

If anyone knows someone who needs to wants to buy a home in Arizona or wants to buy 4 acres to build on, reach out to me.

Rescheduled house hunting trip to Texas, can't leave next Friday.
We will wait for the possibility of coordinating with the bluebonnets blooming and also to avoid any late winter ice storms.

Please stay warm and safe and do the same for your four legged ones.

This one went well. Two meds are used, each infused directly into my bladder. After the first infusion I have to lie quietly for an hour. Then I get drained and the second infusion is done, again directly into my bladder. Then the Nurse sends me home with orders to retain the infusion as long as I can stand it.

Today I actually fell asleep after the first infusion so that hour passed quickly:p

Thanks for your support my SF friends. It truly helps.

That's right! Polar Vortex coming next week. Time t dig out the long johns!!

Here's the temps we can expect Midnight Tuesday Jan 22nd. (Temps in Celsius but still very cold even in Ferinheight!): And these temps don't account for any wind which will make it feel much, much colder. Even northern Fla will be around 0 Celsius or 32 F; freezing point.

Just today I ran across plantain as a help for heart issues. I am looking for alternative meds because I can no longer afford the prescribed ones.

I was a busy bee today. Before sunrise, I made two prayers (evening and morning), started my crock pot chili, cooked 3 turkey burgers (one for the chili, one I cut into slices and eat with two breakfasts instead of sausages (too many preservatives) and one will be for an open faced turkey-cheese burger). I also scooped the litter box.

At daybreak, I was using my tablet when suddenly it came to me that I should go down and do laundry right then instead of waiting until the afternoon, so I changed clothes and did it. I went up and down the set of stairs three times because I take a grocery bag of clothes first to hold a machine, if one is available, before dragging down a full laundry bag. A man came down to get clothes out of the dryer, then another to fix a single load machine. Neither of them got in my way, thank goodness. The laundry room was repainted, including the floor. I hope it doesn't start chipping like in the past. We even got a new sink and faucet.

I took a long nap this afternoon, got up, loaded the dishwasher and made tuna salad. I had problems with my computer. At first the Windows four box icon wouldn't go away. After rebooting, the Dell screen didn't go away, so I had to fiddle with it until I saw the screen that said self repair was being attempted. I realized that in case that happens again and I have to take the computer in for repair, I'd better make sure sensitive documents and folders are deleted from my desktop then emptied from the recycle bin, so I spent time doing that. I made sure the files are also on my external drives. It also reminded me that I should sign out of all accounts before shutting down.

With all that, I'm just getting to the forum at 10:30. I'll catch up with some posts after which I'll scoop the litter box again. then sweep and Swiffer the floors before my son takes out the garbage. With those things completed, I just want to relax, eat my mini sundae and watch T.V.

I am going to finally get rid of clothes that I've kept for years and will most likely never wear again. I've already started, so I'm doing good! After I stopped working years ago, I went to wearing jeans and tshirts everyday. I kept a few dress-up separates and other things for special occasions and unexpected events. I haven't even had to wear those. And I rarely buy clothes anymore so I've been happy to keep the old, old things just in case. Well, I need to treat myself to a few new stand-by clothes too.

The last time I cleaned out my closet I color coded my tops. Sounds silly but it has been a big help! I have a lot of blue shades, then cherry shades, then green. Almost no brown or warm colors and maybe two black tops.
Yesterday it got up to 55° . It will rain today and tomorrow then turn bitter cold next week. I got myself out and raked two areas then burned.
I mentioned in another thread that I had, so late in life, bought some safety glasses. They are nice like regular gasses but with coverage. They fit well and don't slip.
What a difference! The allergines and smoke did not bother my eyes as usual. I highly recommend them.
@Georgiagranny you listening? Do you use them?
