@MACKTEXAS , thank you, but for the past several days, I made a decision to go Internet Free in order to see where my thoughts and subsequent artwork would take me. It was quite a cleansing experience, and I've got some work which will be shared, given world and time. But for now, please allow me to play catch up with my Daily Cartoons!

Glad to know you're doing okay. I was just about to reply to the 3 you first posted today, when your newest additions popped up. Of all 5, "Like a Bird on a Wireless" is my favorite. I hope you find a venue for your work that pleases you, but don't forget us here at Senior Forums. We appreciate the the smiles you bring us.

I know a few guitar players that I would enjoy more if they had that kind of guitar.

@MACKTEXAS yeah, most instructions nowadays have illustrations only, and while I'm a visual learner, words are good, too.

One of the fun things about this project was getting odds & ends along with some scrap metal and visualizing how they might work together, then welding them. It's never as easy as I visualize it.

You stick welded, I presume. I'm only set up for MIG. My neighbor has a buzz box and says he'll teach me to use it, but he's always genuinely short on time. ...sigh
