Do you fear or welcome your death?

Neither. As a scientist, I do not believe in death completely. The engine no longer operates, even with replacements, so it is good bye to mother earth. At my advanced age, I still study microbiology, physiology and the like. There are certain elements found in all manner of life forms, just waiting, waiting.........

Robots will never be human.

I want to be in my 90's like Lois above ^^^, and still fascinated by research

Like others, I'm not keen on saying that I neither fear death nor welcome it.
As a Christian, I'll try my best to accept whatever God decides... with as much dignity as I can muster. šŸ˜…
But I do trust that Jesus has accomplished all that I need to affect a resurrection to eternal life, in Him.

Mostly I try not to think about it.

When I was younger I strongly didn't want to die, and a lot of that was because I would "regret" or "mourn" missing out on things I wanted to do in life. But once I finally let go of all the wishful thinking mythology of religions, and accepted that when I die my brain turns off and decomposes and that therefore the existence of "me" is gone forever, and that there would not be any "regret" etc., then I am a lot more relaxed about the prospect of death.

do you normally give up 2/3rds of the way along the track ? ..don't you want to get to the finishing line
I am NOT giving up. The finishing line will not be suicide as the song goes ...
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)

Song by

Doris Day

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother
What will I be?
Will I be pretty?
Will I be rich?
Here's what she said to me

"Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be"

When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart
What lies ahead?
Will we have rainbows
Day after day?
Here's what my sweetheart said

"Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be"

Que sera, sera

Songwriters: Raymond B.

Neither! I don’t fear it but I don’t really welcome it. I’m enjoying my life with my husband and two dogs. Today we are celebrating 35 years of living together.
Happy Anniversary to you both! 🧔

I welcome it. I have run my race to the best of my ability.
I don't fear it or welcome it. If I was in a bad way with a serious disease and in pain, I'd have no issue taking my own life, perhaps with an assist from a doctor, perhaps not. Prefer not to pass in a hospice or nursing home, rather be in my own home.
