This sporting club is very expensive food wise.

In comparison to other local clubs.
A can of soft drink is $4
A serve of Hot chips is $9
Hamburger - $12
Inglewood United Football Club. Perth, WA
Not a major club, a couple hundred people at the most would attend the main game

It’s not much different at our local baseball stadium.

They do have a $2.00 hotdog day once a week.

I belong to a Gentlemen’s club, which members pay an annual membership fee to belong. There is also an initiation fee to join, if you are accepted. Only men can join, but our families are welcomed, if the member is also among the group.

The food and drink prices are very reasonable.

In Pittsburgh by chance? Which one?
Not the DC as they accept women...

When we were kids our mother always packed our own food for trips or nights at the drive in movies, State Fair, etc…

We always kept what little cash we had for an ice cream cone or some other small treat.

Maybe things have always seemed expensive for some of us and maybe that wasn’t a bad thing. 🤔

Generally you cannot bring food/drink to a venue. Most even purse check.

I once got free tickets to a blazer's basketball game. As I was standing out in line I could see the people going through being searched.

One of the security was searching a purse and pulled out like 20-30 tootsie pops, then tossed them in the garbage.

I could understand soda, and other food items, but tootsie pops? Glad I never cared to attend another game.
