What don't you care about a bit, but the rest of the world goes ape over?

Let me get out the list.

Royalty - they won the birth lottery. Let's face it.

Celebrities and their romances.

People's sexual choices. - If you're happy, I'm happy. What's all the fuss about. Everything is cool.

AI. Yes, it's amazing but I don't really care.

Globalism - because it means added surveillance.

Apps for everything.

A new smartphone yearly.
 

Well, my parents taught me to turn left when everyone turns right, so I have always marched to my own beat. I don't do anything trendy or mainstream. Movies, news, trends, travel, popular sayings or tv shows. I don't know what most people are obsessed about and that's cool with me.

Award ceremonies. I could care less which actor won an Oscar or an Emmy, and that whole "Red Carpet" stuff. And when you think about it, somebody has to win every year. If I never heard " I'd like to thank the academy" again, I wouldn't cry about it.

Agree 100%. We were forced to get one a few weeks ago and for the first time in many years I got seriously depressed. It took us almost a week just to learn how to make a phone call with it because all those stupid apps kept getting in the way and the "swipe" action rarely works for me. I've watched many Youtube tutorials trying to learn how to use it and they just make it more and more complicated. I can't talk to anyone so they can hear me well and I keep accidentally hanging it up because the on and off switch is right where you have to hold it.

Even though we've only used it a few times we have to constantly keep charging it, it's like feeding a mean pet.

We long for the days when there was a phone on the wall where you could simply pick up the perfectly formed receiver and dial. That would be something to get excited over.
 
Pretty much everything anymore. I'm just waiting for my number to come up. Blah. Yes I know I can do something about it. Why? Never was excited about being here, much to the chagrin to of everyone I know.

P.S. I live alone now and it's the best thing to ever happen to me.
 
I don't care about the future, the end of the world or religion but I certainly have things to say about them mostly disclaimers. None of these things except for religion is relevant in this moment of time and space. Religions are a perversive distraction from the truth that you alone as an individual posses the ability to grow and mature into an understanding that religious practices claim as the sole source of attaining love, happiness and completeness but seldom deliver.

I'm with you 100%. I have also been sceptical about the Nobel Peace Prize for decades :unsure: and when Obama got one for being black I knew the whole thing was a fiddle for sure.
