You were told it is the work queue not that it is ready.Called pharmacy yesterday to refill a prescription. Robot voice claimed "it is already in the work queue."
So today I go to pick it up, along with a new prescription from the Doc last Monday. New one: "dated for the 12th" so not available yet. The refill: "not ready yet, do you want to sit and wait or come back?"
The new prescription isn't their fault, but the refill suggests they are getting overworked to me. They weren't like this when I switched over to them last year, but I suppose other orphaned Rite-Aid customers finally got fed up with Walgreen's. Even the staff at the Doc's on Monday mentioned them by name as a pain to deal with: nearly impossible to get on the phone.
Walgreen's: Ack! Ptui!
Have you told him?I think I heard it all today. I've been taking a medication for two years to help keep me from developing glaucoma. A young eye doctor suggests I stop taking the medication for 6 six months to see if I develop glaucoma and go from there.
No........I will keep taking the medication and not be his guinea pig. While I'm at it..........I will not see him anymore.

wasn't ebay it was Etsy....Vintage has come in over the past 18 months or so in a big way, especially with social media lifestyle influencers. That's why the ebay prices are good.
What a weird request! I'd find a new doctor too. Or, at least ask him his logic as to why his said that..I think I heard it all today. Sorry about your loss, @spectratg. It's difficult to lose loved ones. One of my four daughters drove me to Ohio yesterday for my 84-year old sister's funeral. Two of my other daughters joined us plus one son-in-law. (One of them had taken me to Ohio in March to see my sister one last time before she passed away.) My 88-year old, wheel-chair bound sister was also there. Both sisters have very large families and many of them were there as well. (They both have great-grandchildren in the same age range, infant to 14 years old, as my six grandchildren.) We got there in time for the wake, and the funeral was today. Then we drove home; daughters jobs prevented us from staying longer.
To make it worse, the husband (he's 65) of my niece (daughter of my sister who died) is in the terminal stage of advanced cancer. I expect to be going back to Ohio in the near future.![]()

DSIL has to leave for work tomorrow morning at 6:30. I was gonna make blueberry scones in the morning but did it now so that he can take a couple with him.
@Mizmo Show up tomorrow for blueberry scones (providing my crew doesn't just eat them all tonight). @hawkdon Want some, too? I'll trade for biscuits and sausage gravy.
The rain is happening a few hours past when it was supposed to. I should have mowed the lawn this afternoon, but oh, well...
