What happened to Honda Civic sedans and bright colors

I don't think dealers can "order" anything but they can do trades with other dealers.

Sedans are assembled in Canada, so they're probably being held back. But the hatchback has more cargo space and it has 4 doors and the same rear legroom. They cost a bit more because there is more to them.

Black, white, and grey are most common on lots here. But there is a dark blue, bright blue, red, and "sand" color though colors vary by body style and trim level.

Things differ on the west coast, where some are still shipped in from Japan.

Honda has the Civic Sedan listed with these colors
Crystal Black Pearl
Meteorite Gray Metallic
Rallye Red
Solar Silver Metallic
Blue Lagoon Pearl (Extra $$)
Platinum White Pearl (Extra $$)
Urban Gray Pearl (Extra $$)
So go to whatever dealer you prefer and order one of those colors. Just note that some of those colors are only available on some Civic Sedan option and that interiors can be limited, depending upon the exterior color or vehicle variation.
You may not drive off the lot in that chosen vehicle on the day you order, as it might not be physically there. It might be a few days or even weeks, depending on inventory across all the dealerships and sometimes has to come from the factory.

Also keep in mid that "styling" has changed. Some have turned toward a "flying potato" look, while others try to look more "aggressive" than more middle-of-the-road customers prefer.

Or interior colors. Some models are almost entirely black inside. They may offer some lighter interior colors, but only paired with certain exterior colors.

I crashed my last car on the way to my first chemo session. Shouldn't have been driving. Dodge hatchback, forgot the name. Bought charcoal grey to match my cat! Interior was light grey. I loved that car. When son little he named it "Spikey." Our white Oldsmobile Cutlass he named Speedy.

Oh, OMNI. Dodge Omni. Loved that car. Only car I ever bought new. All others were cast-offs from dad when he would buy new.

As far as I can determine these are all of the colors available that are not on the spectrum of monotones from white to black:

Some of those only come on the hatchback, and not all trim levels come in all colors.

It's sad, isn't it Deb. Cars used to have style and come in a huge variety of color combinations. Today they all look the same and mostly come is black, gray, or white.
Yes, fun back then. Pink and green, purple and orange with polka dots. Zebra and fur. People actually painted and had creativity and talent didn't need to wrap everything.

Yes, car colours are sooooooo Boring! On top it all they almost all look alike. Even a Cadillac is big like some truck and all black. People have no taste today.

Henry Ford is often quoted as having said, "You can have any color you want as long as it is black."

Mines a hatchback but redder than a red thing dipped in red :)
