My arm is like that to. in thearly 80s I fell off a ladder on to concrete. right on my shoulder. should of had an mri.just lived with the pain.got worse when I did anything over head like painting. now my bicep and arm hurts often. Tylenol and ice helps when it gets to bad.
yep it's my bicep. I hurt it about 2 weeks ago doing some cutting back of the hedges and shrubs with the big hedge trimmer.... I've tried Ice & heat, ibuprofen.. but it's getting worse rather than better... :(

I've jst started watching The accountant on Amazon Prime...

I am not a film watcher normally.. except the old classics... but I thought I'd give this one a try. What I want to know is how long has it been since the movie makers put warnings of Alcohol and smoking alongside Violence and swearing at the start of the movie..

Good grief , is there anything left that people don't take offence at ?

A poultice of Castor Oil can do wonders along with rubbed in Dr. Scholls Foot Lidocaine / Menthol.
Easing out ibuprofen is wise to. Son had heal spurs, Castor oil poultices fixed them.. It sort of puts
you at the house for hours though! But calms down those feisty / angry nerves ... :ROFLMAO: ... Their loss too !

Flowers from our garden....................................................................Large rocks (center and left) are hidden under a huge Siberian Elm Tree.

Cutting today a termite infested Eucalyptus tree and pulling it with my large pickup truck to our side of the fence, Mother
Nature ruled against me and had the top-heavy tree falling on the street anyway. Miraculously no damage to the fence.
BTW, the road is called an "Avenue" but only dirt bikes are fit to use it.

We have white and red Oleanders................................................And the ever grateful Canna flowers are blooming wildly.

Back when I was a penniless student, with financial help from my father, I managed to pass the required test for driving trucks. Working on a staff agency at weekends improved my finances dramatically.

That licence is still valid and the company that I work for capitalise on it by ocassionally getting me to run vehicles to and from the service centre. Today though, one of the managers is running me to The MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd. distribution centre in Swindon. I have a big boy's toy to play with. The company have acquired another truck and asked me to collect it.

Heading out for the 'Great Tennessee Air Show'.

Feel like a kid again, knowing I'll be around planes and watching the 'Blue Angles' perform.

I'll be thinking of all the air shows my dad and I attended growing up and how he would tell me all about every plane.

This time I'll be sharing it with My Son...
I saw an air show in Atlantic City a couple of years ago. It was fun to watch those planes do their amazing stunts. I was able to view it from the large terrace of the Ocean hotel and casino even though I wasn't a guest there.

What great memories of your dad. I can relate a little to how you "feel like a kid again". I do too, just watching planes come in when we're at the Walmart across from Teterboro, N.J. airport. I used to tell my husband that I'm a cheap date...just take me someplace where we can watch planes take off and land. :)

Besides tweaking my Financial Empowerment Plan (aka budget), yesterday was lazy day. I napped a couple of times. Around 7:00 p.m. HS#3 called and asked if I wanted to go to Whole Foods with him. I had never been to the one he was going to so I got dressed and off we went. We rode through a nice, scenic area and the fresh air was nice. We were taking it all in.

Turns out Whole foods is much more expensive than Amazon Fresh, which didn't surprise me. We left without buying anything and headed to Amazon, which is in another town. For dinner I got the pre-packaged spinach Dijon salad for the first time. Plenty of spinach left over to which I will add my own fixings. Therefore it's a better bargain than the Fiesta salad I was getting; both are $2.99. I saw other pre-packaged salads at Amazon Fresh and Whole foods for $7.99...insane!

It's too soon to give you an update on my day, because I've just gotten up! LOL

Right now I'm having my coffee. The kitchen door is open and I'm watching for Goober's grand arrival. He usually shows up when he gets hungry. 😅

I do have some business calls to make later.....maybe. I've been procrastinating getting them done, so they might happen and they might not.

It's a kind of ishy day today... greyish...sunny-ish.. breezy-ish....

I've tried to get an appointment with my Doctor but they have no available appt's until the 2nd of July...

I may have to try the out of hours service at the local hospital. It's not A&E... it's a cottage hospital which has GP services after hours.. and they only dispense what a GP can..like prescriptions or advice.. or recomend a visit to A&E... but first you have to run the gauntlet of the out of hours service receptionists by phone. and they decide if you can see someone or not.. so I maay try them this evening..

The last place I want to go is to spend 12hours in the outpatients dept of the A&E at the nearest hospital which is a 30 mile round trip.. and the parking costs a fortune..

My neurologist called me. I told him did not do well on first med; he is sending over another, which he says I took before. Must have stopped in for a reason? I don't remember.

Found a neurologist for second opinion. He has an office around the corner, and is affiliated with my hospital of choice.

I hate this.

My DIL made an appt. for me with Parkinson center at my hospital. September. She warned me someone might call with a sooner appt. That just happened. I got so flustered I turned it down. Then I called son, who didn't know what I was talking about. He hadn't been clued in to me also being on list to be called in case of cancellation. So he told me just take it next time. If there is a next time.

I was on landline with friend and call from hosp. came in on cell. I don't know, I got so flustered, stammering, I didn't know what to do, or make decision. Son said "ok, you learned, forgive yourself," as I beat myself up for every wrong thing I do.

I'm a mess.

Spur of the moment decision: we drove about 60 miles (an hour one way) to a Nissan dealer this morning. We ended up putting a deposit down on a Sentra. It is expected to be delivered next week.

I love the car that we have right now, and I hate to see it go, but it has over 100,000 miles on it from all of those trips to the roller rink. Dio has been researching cars for 2 years, and having a hard time finding what he wanted. This will be our first vehicle that is not a Chevy, in the last 50 years!

Old Forester is back in the shop for $1.92k to replace all the SMOG parts including catalytic converter and 2 sensors. Then after it expectedly passes the $50 smog tests so it can then be California registered, next week will be able to relax before dealing with some suspension issues like the front control arms. This morning web priced some Carmax used 2020+ SUV AWD hybrid vehicles that would be $25k>$30k cash, I would prefer to delay a few more months.

A brother will be visiting midweek so I can help in his hospital visit for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Allows for valve replacement without the need for open-heart surgery..

My HP Omen desktop system has supposedly been built and is shipping so may be delivered this week.

Next weekend in SF is the free street North Beach Festival I'd like to attend. However bands have not yet been announced that is not a good sign.
