Riot Fest in Chicago soon

No joke. The annual Riot Fest is this summer in a city park.
Can you think of a worse name? How about Crime Fest or Harmful Fest.
And they don't understand why there's so much property damage, noise and unruly commotion in the neighborhood.
Duh? It's an invite to riot.

A punk rock festival is NOT an invitation to riot.
geez...

It has been going on for decades. If it was an invitation to riot, it would have never even got to year two.

Go and check it out... Jack White would be a great act to see live! :)
...or Weird Al Yankovic, if he is more your taste.

Yeah, see, that's where the text lost me. Dark humor is usually dark and humorous. This just seemed flatly contradictory rather than amusing. I mean, if @Victor says he was joking, okay he was joking. But it doesn't read like a joke, dark or otherwise.

Unless I'm just completely out of touch with this form of humor and just don't get it, which is entirely possible. I don't get out much. ;)
 
In Victor's defense, that is a pretty stupid name for a festival in the park. I can see the headlines "Riot in the park breaks out at "Riot Fest" in the park".
Does "Riot Fest" conjure up great music, or should I bring my helmet and a weapon?
