The man in front of me ordered a 14 piece bucket of chicken. The clerk asked him if he'd like gravy with his order...to which he replied...
"I don't want gravy! I'm on a diet!!"
I was giggling like a little school girl for the rest of my time in that line-up.

I love BP... and white pudding occasionally... I hate stews.. to the point where I could throw up if I smell one cookingI don't care for haggis, although Mrs.L likes it. I do like a good black pudding when I can get it, and the occasional white / mealie pudding.
In winter we like broths, stews, casseroles etc..
yes we still get horseshoe shaped black pudding ( Morcilla) in Spain...That's OK, Hollydolly, you can have the haggis and I'll have the stew.
In my younger days, Black pudding used to come in a sort of horseshoe shape, and had distinct pieces of white fat throughout it. The last time I ate one like that, was in Portugal, beautifully cooked in Port wine.
