Do you do/ have (Autumn) 'seasonal' food item(s)?

Definitely. We have seasonal foods when we celebrate the seasons. For instance Thanksgiving dinner is always a turkey with stuffing roast potatoes and vegetables and then pumpkin pie with ice cream.

Christmas is similar but with gingerbread cookies and at Easter we have something made from chocolate. ( melted chocolate eggs or bunnies )

Spring and summer we eat lots of salads but come fall we start making soups, especially made from squash.

I was in line at the Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet.

The man in front of me ordered a 14 piece bucket of chicken. The clerk asked him if he'd like gravy with his order...to which he replied...

"I don't want gravy! I'm on a diet!!"

I was giggling like a little school girl for the rest of my time in that line-up.
I get it!

I drink black coffee when I have pecan pie with whipped cream. 😉

I don't care for haggis, although Mrs.L likes it. I do like a good black pudding when I can get it, and the occasional white / mealie pudding.
In winter we like broths, stews, casseroles etc..
I love BP... and white pudding occasionally... I hate stews.. to the point where I could throw up if I smell one cooking:sick:

That's OK, Hollydolly, you can have the haggis and I'll have the stew.
In my younger days, Black pudding used to come in a sort of horseshoe shape, and had distinct pieces of white fat throughout it. The last time I ate one like that, was in Portugal, beautifully cooked in Port wine.

We eat the traditional foods at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

In autumn, those Little Debbie Pumpkin Delight cookies hit the shelves. My son used to love them, but I always thought they looked disgusting, with pumpkin-flavored goo and not any actual pumpkin. To be fair, though, I've never bothered to check the ingredient list.
