Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. 🤗 :coffee: 🌻

I'm thankful to say that things are going well here and I expect that to continue. :) I woke a bit late this morning but have made up the time. As Kate mentioned, the weather in this region has been very pleasant for a while now. And I'm hoping we continue this way and roll right in autumn.

I've been curious about when and how carrots became a recurring theme in this thread. After some searching, the below turned up to be the first mention. June 8th. Mystery solved. Thought I'd pass it along for anyone who's wondered the same.

Good morning... oops, make that afternoon, it's turned midday. 🕛 I've been for a walk with Rocco. Lovely, bright and sunny start to the day... rain was forecast.

We were fortunate enough to see the cygnets today. They are losing their fluffy grey feathers, can just see the white feathers starting to appear. There are 4 cygnets altogether but they were spread out, couldn't get them all in the frame together.

Rocco has now been fed and is 'resting'. I might join him. lol

It was challenging as always, to get myself to my own appointment today, but yes, I did manage it, and it went fairly well.

It's 8 months since I (bravely)🙄
Left the rehab facility, to give another attempt to live at home.
There has been a host of challenges and some days I feel that I'm barely succeeding;

But what's more important, is that I am thankfully still here, and rather amazingly, so is dh. And overall, despite some very rough patches, I am succeeding, and improving, in some ways.

Every one of you matters, in this journey, and every 🥕 helps.

Good afternoon, I've had a lovely morning with eldest son and Rocco. We went to the mediaeval fair at nearby Furness Abbey. Thankfully, the rain stayed away while we were there, it was a bit overcast at times but that was okay. Rocco behaved himself and walked nicely... that is sometimes hit and miss. :cool: I did take a few photographs but haven't uploaded (is that the correct word? ) them to the computer yet. Will do that tomorrow as I'm feeling a bit tired.

Pleased your medical appointment went reasonably well @Kaila. Keep on keeping on. 🥕

Enjoy your time with grandson and family @RadishRose. 🤗

Hope everyone is well and having a lovely weekend. Going to have a little play in the word games then I'm getting my feet up and settling down for the evening. 📺

I'm worn out today, but as @Jules
had said, I got those things behind me on Thursday and Friday. Three appointments and I honestly cannot remember what else. 😊

I did a few very small tasks, today, and went outdoors for about 15 minutes. It's refreshingly beautiful outside, this weekend.

@StarSong - I wanted to know the story of how carrots became a theme in this thread but all you share is the date it all started. WHY did carrots become a theme? Note: I even went back to June 8th ( page 100 ) but found nothing about carrots. The main discussion for the day was whether or not members liked sushi or not.

Keeping those tasks manageable is always important …. and so is any amount of outdoor time. It recharges us.
