Women and their facial makeup…

Ha ha, no! Let's just say I need a lot of help. Although given that I am in North Dakota and don't really care what most people here think of me, I have indeed run a short errand from time to time with minimal makeup, just a little concealer and powder so I don't scare small children.

I haven't worn makeup in years. Mainly because of the prices of it. Plus I've not had a reason to. But if I end up getting an office job I will likely use a little.

I never wore a lot of make-up and I wear even less now. I'd love to wear a little mascara, but it irritates my eyes something terrible now. I usually just powder my nose and put on a little combo lip balm with color. My husband seems to like me just the way I am, and that's all that matters to me.

I usually put on a little, and I mean very little, but I am comfortable going out with no makeup now. I think my geographic location makes a difference in my decision.

Generally, I prefer the look of women with make up, when it's not overdone. But two women I know of personally come to mind who don't appear to be wearing makeup. It just seems they have taken good care of their skin over the years.

When I worked, I was big on eye makeup. No fake lashes, as mine were long enough, although not even close to @Fritz ’s foto. I am still fortunate to have halfway decent skin, albeit nothing like when I was 50.

Once I retired, so did the eye makeup

Can you imagine men going on a date with a woman who has fake almost everything? By the 4th date, she invites you to her place and she starts taking off fake eyelashes, nails, and hair. Just a little humor.

I feel comfortable going out with light eyeliner and mascara w/ light eye shadow effect .. powder the nose, and bare blush lipstick ..

I rarely wear make up anymore. For day to day errands, I don't bother especially in summer when it's hot/humid. I find even the waterproof mascara will run into my eyes.

When I do for daytime, it's usually mascara, shadow & sometimes a little liner. If it's a special occasion, I'll put on foundation & lipstick.

My skin tone has changed so many times over the past 4-5 years. I'd have run up
$100's in make up cost trying to keep up with what my tone color would be.
So I use it occasionally to at least even out the tone but never eyelid color anymore.
Just mascara and a touch of liner and a light lip color. I was more into it in my 40's,
then began slacking off. Less is more with how my face has changed for me.

Mama never has been one to wear much makeup and doesn't need it as far as I'm concerned.....she just puts on a little lipstick when we go out and that's it.

My mother was always allergic to eye makeup so she just threw on some foundation and powder and a light lipstick and off she went.

My mom didn't wear make-up either. I remember her wearing lipstick if she went out. Her skin was beautiful, well into her 80s.

Some years ago like about 15 years, a group of us birthday gals decided it would be a hoot for all of us to arrive wearing false eyelashes of our choice. I’ll not forgotten the laughs we had at that birthday luncheon. Lol.
