Hi forlks. I am a pre-boomer. I believe they call us the Silent Generation as we were born near the end of WW2 and there wasn't much to be said after what we had just been through.
I like reading. I am into historical novels of late - though I can find an interest in just about most topics.

Thanks for the greeting, Linda and Lon. I'm up here in the Diablo range - Paicines is my PO address - population is about 150. My nearest neighbors are about one mile away.

Hi Falcon. I read your profile. I was in the Air Force as well. They wouldn't let me near an aircraft because of my color vision. It wasn't until I got out that I got my license - single engine, tail dragger. I soloed in an old Tailorcraft that was older than myself. That was during the 70's and 80's. Can't fly anymore because of blood pressure medicine. I got really interested in Rutan's composite designs. I spent time in Mojave where I got a chance to take a ride in his Longez. Those were wonderful years for me.
