Left: Who has the best chance of catching my daughter's drone? The one-year old puppy, of course, who is an acrobat.
Right: If the puppy weren't so loveable, I would get upset when he gets muddy, and I have to give him a bath.

My wife and older daughter are flying tomorrow to Vancouver. So, my wife is cooking a half dozen dishes to ensure I won't starve.

Left: A hawk's balancing act. Right: At the public Badlands Dump, I had to back-in to unload. Well, a piece of junk was below of what I could see. Three estimates are so far between $1K to $1,9K. My son-in-law wants to give it a shot. The bumper costs $108, but painting is by far the most expensive item. This is the first time in my life that I completely wrecked a bumper. My young daughters, however, caused more damage than I in my whole life, like driving at age 16 over a fire hydrant while having unauthorized a boy in her car.

Had a hard day yesterday. It was physically very difficult to take AccessARide, pick up my grandson, go home. I don't know how I can do this again............I feel my health is fading rapidly............I'm in excruciating pain. My foot. Pain walking. Pain sleeping. Pain. Agonizing pain.

I have pain pills. Can't function on them. My mind gets affected, so I can't think straight and I shake.

Going through something very very bad. It's been weeks since I can walk without being debilitated.

@Pepper Might physical therapy help? Is that a possibility?

I'm up a little later than usual, but up. It's not cold yet...65...but it's not going to get much warmer than that. Yay! I'm ready for some weather that's not warm. Remind me in January that I said this :ROFLMAO:

DD is already gone to her work-away-from-home job.

I need to get my arse in gear, get dressed, do the morning tidying up, start tonight's soup in the crock pot.

Morning all, we had our 1st freeze last night on my usual morning walk at 6:50 temp was a tad nippy 43, had to put a warm hat on since my hair is now really short LOL! I strolled twice around the building looked up at the moon. As I was coming around the 2nd time, notice a guy sitting across the street at bus stop, he was wearing only shorts and a sweatshirt
NO real plans today will take a mid morning walk since its going to be a sunny day in the 50's, read NYT. I'm having my weekly dinner get together with Connie& the guys at 5:30,look forward to that
Everybody enjoy your day

Morning friends!! Slept fairly well till 6am, so here I am....not
gonna lie, my right knee is giving me fits today, can barely walk, durn it.....got the heat pad on it now....but that prob won't stop
me, but only got a bit of laundry for today, no other chores...it is
a bit cool at 57f this morning, they say rain but none on radar
anywhere near me.....dang squirrels bringing walnuts from the
tree across the street and chewing them up on my porch!! what
a mess, yet they won't touch the pumpkins!!!! aagghh I give up!!
Have a great day no matter what, I'm going to!!! :p:love::coffee::devilish:

@hawkdon How about putting a pumpkin on the porch, dig out a bit of the inside and put walnuts in it? Maybe the squirrels only want gourmet food. LOL

The laundry has been started, and the soup is in the crockpot. What'll I do now?
GG I guess that is an option, just looked out there and did see one
squirrel looking inside the holes I chopped into it....so we will see...

We're going to park the RV on our property today. It's been on the street since we came back from our last outing a couple of weeks ago, but since we have no upcoming camping trips, it's time to put it away. It's a trickier undertaking than you might imagine to back a 32' 5th wheel into a space with less than 8" of forgiveness from side to side.

Sometimes we get it right on the first try, but it usually take 6-8 attempts. He drives, I direct to the best of my woefully inadequate abilities.

I have great respect for anyone who drives a big RV or camper van much less reverse into a very narrow space .... I couldn't do it...

Sounds like your day off was more work than going to work!
It was more restful than anything.

My P/T job has turned into full time these days, with one person fired and 5 leaving to take other jobs, out of town. They need to hire more people. They did hire 3 new women to cashier a couple days per week. What we need is another supervisor. We only have one young girl and myself. Right now, I only get one day off per week. I usually close the store and don't get home until after 8PM. Bet I get my 10,000 steps in a day at work! 😅

Morning gang!!! Just heard thunder outside but no rain so far..
It is 62F and heading to 80f later on....got up at 5am but didn't
really want to....my knee is still iffy, in spite of heat pad, pain pad overnite, etc etc...so won't be running any marathon today...
this is care lady day, she will be here at 11am to clean up some
of my mess, make the bed, dust and such as that....I;ll have
to take a spit bath today, as not getting into the shower with
this bum knee.....anyhoo make it a good daY no matter what!!!
:p  :devilish:

Afternoon Peeps of SF....🌺🍂

Overcast today... I'm just having a cuppa tea before I leave for Physiotherapy today.....

The irony of it is, that driving makes my arms much more painful.... and every night of any day that I've spent driving even if it's only a few miles.. I can barely sleep for the pain... so I hope she is more proactive with treatment today than she has been

Have the best day you can Folks...

Bright, warm, but windy day here. Fed up with working in the house and garden. so we're thinking of heading out this afternoon.
Our daughter has completed her house purchase, so next week we'll be in Salford to help with the move. Not looking forward to the drive, so we're breaking the journey with an overnight stop at Gretna to visit the outlet village there. Then it's over the border and south.

Seeing the doc tomorrow @Georgiagranny. I'll mention your suggestion, thanks.

So sorry to read about your pain, Pepper.

I too am in constant pain, but not seemingly to the same extent as yourself. I did have a back injury many years ago, and that was the worst pain I ever felt - totally debilitating.

I also have a little experience with prescribed painkillers that do nothing. I get Codeine and am supposed to take four pills a day, but it does literally nothing. The pain is still there, and there aren't any side effects - just a big fat nothing.

Obviously I can't know what's going on with you, but here's something that surprised me. I take two ibuprofen, and two Aspirin (the Aspirin is made up of 300mg Aspirin, 200mg Paracetamol, and 45g Caffeine and sells in the UK under the brand name of "Anadin Extra".) These are over the counter medications. I try to do this dose twice a day. Miraculously, in my case I've found this provides a lot more comfort (relieves the pain) than the Codeine does.

Meaning - if you're in a state where you'd try anything, don't discount over the counter options.

I do hope you get some peace soon!

❤️
