Morning everyone! Another work day is upon me. Hopefully I won't have to do 3 linen carts again tonight. I hope everyone has or is surviving the snow and cold.
Hope everyone is healthy. One of our trash guys is out with Covid. Everyone else has had the flu. So stay safe!

Hello, all, and good afternoon to each one of you, on Thursday. 
We've all made it through that last week;
the widespread winter storm, complete with the worry beforehand, plus the aftermath results.
All together, added in to whatever each one of us regularly deals with.
That's a significant sum total.
No wonder we're all bushed.
I went to p.t. this morning, which was challenging and helpful, as usual.
It had been a longer time between last session and today's, so i was very glad to be back there.
A very supportive environment, for me.

Good morning @Kaila and co. So pleased you find your pt a supportive environment @Kaila. 
Strangely enough, my shoulder has eased up quite a lot and I've not been doing any exercises...
I have been a good girl though and not done anything strenuous, just in case. 
My son came round the other afternoon and said that he and grandson will come round soon and do the floor by the front door for me. I started sanding it last year, it is only a tiny area, and it's a job I wanted to do myself but I finally realise that I'll have to hand it over to them to do. Well, the sanding bit at least. I'll do the easy part which is waxing it.
Other than that, not much to report. Rocco and I have been for a walk. He is now fast asleep. He went to the groomer last week so is looking very neat and tidy now. I bought him a new coat and a new toy. Gave a couple of his other toys away as he was just not interested in them. He has a preference for soft, toys that he can snuggle up to.
Hope the weather is improving for those of you in the snowy/icy areas.

I am NOT amused at the weather forecast warning I just received. TWENTY BELOW wind chill tonight. Twenty below?! I don't remember a time in my whole life that I saw that. And I have to go out in the morning... oh well, I'm stopping for a hot mocha. Hope I won't turn into an icicle.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends
Lucius and I found a path to walk through the medical center parking lot today as they are closed. It was nice to be able to give him some exercise. Apparently, it is supposed to creep above freezing over Monday and Tuesday before dropping again. Hopefully, some of this snow will burn off during the window.
Boyfriend is watching the West Ham game today and I am tracking it on my phone as I don't have video access to this one.
We watched our beloved hockey team not win again last night and that is really bad as their chance at a playoff spot is slipping away.
It's the usuals for me today.
Hoping everyone is feeling good this afternoon.

Is your boyfriend a West Ham supporter then @Medusa ? My late husband's family were Londoners. My husband wasn't at all interested in football but father-in-law was and his team was West Ham. I can't watch it either but keeping and eye on it via my tablet. Although my sons and grandson are Man Utd fans, we have a soft spot for the Hammers.
Nothing exciting to report. Got the bus to town and back, picked up a couple things. After that I had a stroll to nearby Aldi then when I got back I did a bit of housework followed by cross stitch...and that's my exciting day.

Yes, he dearly loves West Ham. Supporting that team was part of the fabric of his upbringing and it still means a lot to him. It's why I track them as well, because it's important to him and he's important to me.
His brother-in-law (sister's husband) is a Man Utd fan and they engage in lighthearted (mostly) jabs about it. I'll have to tell him about your appreciation as well. COYI!

@Medusa I can imagine how difficult it must be to navigate outside in the snow with a dog. When we moved to Texas, my two mini dachshunds experienced snow for the first time. Both of them were born in Florida. It was so funny to watch them! They were trying to eat it! (Dachshunds would eat anything!)
It is going to be nasty here tonight. We are expecting 23 F and perhaps snow!
It will stay cold for a few days. It is also very windy. Not looking forward to that.

I love dachshunds! Adorable little guys. 
My best friend, who lives in Colorado, has a sweet dachshund called Harry-Donald.
(That's not him.)
