Two days ago our temperature was 87F! Yesterday we had rain in the morning. We are expecting to have a cool day today.

Sorry you are going through a rough time at the moment @Kaila. I hope that today you will have improved somewhat.

I'm just waiting on my four legged friend to arrive. Light rain is forecast for mid morning so I think I'll try and get him out for a walk while it's still dry. Other than that, nothing else planned. The snooker tournament finished last night and although there is a new tournament starting today, it is only shown on a subscription sports channel and I don't subscribe to it...or any other subscription channels. However, the World Open Snooker starts 16th March and that's on BBC so I look forward to that.

Well... my friend has arrived so I'll log off for now and take him out. Catch up with you all later.

Good morning, everyone! I'm so sorry that you're having to struggle through a "rough season" Kaila. That would really stink if you can't make your important appointment this morning... *but* your safety is very important, too, so if the roads are bad or the place is closed today, I'm hoping that you won't have to wait long for a reschedule.

I peeked out of the window when I got up and yeah, it's white out there, so I stopped looking. I don't really want to know "how much" yet. Dealing with that later sounds like a good idea.

I finally slept. I hafta clean the bedroom today. Other than that, nothing special planned.

I finally got more overnight sleep, than I've been getting. Whew.
I needed it desperately.

I'm still in a rough spell, but the sleep helps, both directly and with coping.

Of course, the snow blizzard has prevented my important medical appointment, from happening, today.

But so far, the winter storm is not overly terrible in my area, and I'm warm and dry, indoors, today.
As long as my power and heat stays on, dear husband and I are okay for today.

I'm wondering how each of you are doing, so far.
Check in when you can.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends.

I missed you guys yesterday. I was staying off social media because husband was at work and we were planning to watch the gold medal hockey game when he returned home. I'm happy to say that we both got through the day without getting the result and were able to enjoy the game!

I'm also glad to report that while it is very cold and windy here and it has snowed, it was very light and the streets are still clear. Phew!

@Kaila, I'm sorry for your current struggles and that you couldn't make your appointment today. Freaking snow. :/

@Pam, how did things end with this round of Snooker? Did your favorite win?

@RadishRose, your doggie is adorable!

Coping and hoping, Can't wait for this cold spell to be over. The maIn part of the house is toasty but my quarters are cold. I think I will sleep on the futon down in the art room tonight. Always concerned about a heart atack with good reason. It tends to make me cranky.

The outdoor cats came in for a visit which always helps.

Coping and hoping, Can't wait for this cold spell to be over. The maIn part of the house is toasty but my quarters are cold. I think I will sleep on the futon down in the art room tonight. Always concerned about a heart atack with good reason. It tends to make me cranky.

The outdoor cats came in for a visit which always helps.

Good morning @Kaila and co. A drizzly start to the day but it's not cold at least. Rocco not here until late morning so I've washed and dried my hair, put some washing on etc. Expecting an order from Amazon today, it's usually mid to late afternoon when they get here so plenty of time to go for a walk first.

@Medusa - no, neither of my two favourite players made it to the snooker final but I still enjoyed watching it. Didn't mind who won out of the two finalists and it was a good game.

Pleased to hear that you got some sleep @Kaila and hope last night was the same.

hoping those in the path of the snow storm are doing ok. a friend of mine in boston said some of his gaming equipment got fried during power outages. he hasn't been to work in 5 days cuz they've been closed due to weather.

i've got the coffee started and preparing for another work week. have a lovely day.

Hello, to every one of you!

I had a terribly difficult and long night.

But I'm a little better, today, thankfully !!!

What a relief.
I thought I'd be calling my pcp, for immediate help this morning but my efforts today, seem to be working, so I'll continue for now.

My appointment that was canceled, for the 2nd time in a row,
(at a different office)
Can't be rescheduled, for another month!
Gosh.

Ah well.
Taking stock;
I'm extremely thankful that we kept our power and heat, during that huge winter storm!
The sun is out. There's a Blue sky and rather peaceful day. Dear husband is doing okay, today. I'm okay. Whew.

I'm enjoying each post.
