What is your favorite (Or top 3) favorite songs of all time?

I couldn't tell you what my 3 favourite songs are there are too many....but here are 3 of the ones I hate the most....

Mull of Kintyre - Paul of McCartney

Chic - Le Freak

Send in the clowns - Judy Collins

there are more but those 3 come to mind immediately.......
😂😂 I hate Send in the Clowns, too, @hollydolly! I find it terribly depressing. And I've already agreed with you on Mull of Kintyre.

I'm not too keen on Le Freak, either.

As others have said, it's virtually impossible to narrow this down to just three, plus my favorites are in a constant state of flux, but right now I'd go with these three:

Because ~ Beatles

Please Be With Me ~ Eric Clapton

Welcome to the Black Parade ~ My Chemical Romance (I love the video almost as much as the song)

Just like others, it is hard for me to pick a favorite. I guess a favorite song would be the one I was listening to (by choice) at the moment. But if I was forced to pick one, this would be it. I do love the original version but also enjoy listening to the many covers of the Bowie classic.

Nice cover by Moby and Mindy Jones

Would it be blasting from your radio in your Woodie, with a surfboard on top?!!

My surfing days are long over. I did quite a bit of small wave surfing at Clearwater Beach back in 1966 and 67. A buddy of mine and I bought a used 9'11" Greg Noll longboard for $60 bucks. $30 bucks each. That was back before leashes and special surf wax. We'd use Gulf Wax parafin that is used for canning. We'd melt in an old sauce pan and pour it on the board. It worked just fine.

One song I never get sick of hearing is Fields Of Gold by Eva Cassidy.

Supposedly Sting was blown away when he heard her rendition of his song. He put a copy of her Songbird CD into record producer David Foster’s hands who quoted him saying, “‘If you want to hear the greatest version of my song ever’—he didn’t say it in an egotistical way—he said, ‘listen to Fields Of Gold with this girl, it’ll change your life.’

@MoBeans, thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this song. I'd never heard of her nor heard her version but agree with you and Sting. Her rendition of "Fields of God" song brought tears to my eyes. Simply beautiful.
I'm in shock...you've never heard of Eva Cassidy ?... I can't believe it !😲

She became much more famous after her death.... ..and for the first 5 years , her covers of various songs were played almost continually on the radio stations...

she was 33 years old when she died, and basically unknown to the vast majority of the public ... until someone discovered her music..

this song was pretty much the first song the radio stations started playing...
