Too effin' hot for March!

Yeah, I saw on the news you're really having a heat wave. I have a friend who lives in Cali who posted about the dangerous heat last week. Take good care and keep cool the best way you can.

Tornado watch all day until evening. So far, except for some strong winds and a super hard rain... nothing.

Woke up to howling wind around 1 am. I checked wunderground, but their scale only goes to 50 MPH and it flat-lined there. Also a heavy dusting of snow over night. Some local areas have power outages. Still quite windy.

Today it’s 13 degrees and raining. It’s going to be raining all day so we aren’t going to go for a walk. It’s melting all the snow which is good.

On the cool side of average for here (41F at the moment). There was a snow squall early this morning that laid down a "heavy dusting". It's all but gone now. Right now it looks like the sun is trying to make an appearance.

81° ATM. That is about 20° higher than average. By Monday through Tuesday,we will be back down in the low 60s.

Hard to believe we are in March and it is warm enough for me to have one barrel fan running for the horses. My Dutch Warmblood likes that barrel fan. As soon as he saw me, pull it out and clean it, he put his head over the aisleway gate, telling me yes please.
