How are you today?

Yesterday was a good one only, out of the 20 people ex-DIL invited only 3 others came.
We had a pavilion lake side which the lake had a cement walkway surrounding it,
a petting farm a short walk away. It was extremely windy but kept warming up.
There was plenty of food with about 4 pizzas left over due to 24 yes RSVP's not showing up.
I suggested generation photos since we had 4 generation set and who knows how many more
chances of that will happen.
The only way we could get those photos was for the b-day boy to be seated in front of his cake
and let him dive his face into it :ROFLMAO: When it came to our family time, I graciously stepped aside
for ex-DIL's turn as I knew she would want it without me in it, that made her smile, and she thanked me
for suggesting those.
Yes, I behaved and had a lovely walk and chat with his other Grandmother. Thank you Lord, for granting
me patience and the gift of a happy event.
Glad the day turned out well for you, overall, and you had a nice time. 🤗

@PeppermintPatty "shocked face?" I thought it meant, "WOW, I am amazed or surprised." I learnt something new.

Today I hired guys to clean up our yard.

My older daughter caught a harmless snake which she wants to show my grandson.

See, that's why I rarely use the "wow" face, because it does look like an expression of shock. :/

Great pictures, @packleader. 🤗

Edit: typo. I swear, every single time I don't check it.

Love your pictures. Thank you.

I used to wake up with neck problems. Sometimes it is simply that the neck needs more support than the head. A big pillow makes the angle all wrong. I use a cervical pillow or just a small pillow under my neck.
This ^^^. My neck has been "cricked" for years, to the point where driving was difficult because I couldn't look over my shoulder. Tried all kinds of different pillows. One night a few months ago, in desperation, I grabbed a small throw pillow off the couch and no kidding, the next morning that pain was gone! I have used only that pillow since then and no more neck/shoulder pain.

I didn't do anything on Saturday. I didn't do anything on Sunday, either. And because I wasn't done doing nothing, I finished up by not doing anything yesterday. It might be that I'm done doing nothing. If that's the case, I will probably do something today;).

Gotta go to Publix for jailhouse food: bread and water.

It's possible that I will ask (grovel) DD to ease on over to the garden center. Just to look, of course, in case there are plants that need to be rescued from Clarence. You know about pet rescues, right? I'm also a firm believer in plant rescues.

I didn't have to ask DD twice to stop by the garden centers. No coercion, no groveling, no begging. It's like her car is on autopilot.

So I've planted 27 sunpatiens. There are 27 more to go, but I had to come in and get out of the sun for a while. There are also four geraniums that want to get planted in a big pot.

It's hot.

Kinda bummed out, actually. Boyfriend will be away, visiting family for Easter, Fri.- Tues. I don't like it when he's away. I mean, I'm glad for him that he's visiting family; that's a good thing and in that sense, I want him to go. I just don't like it when he's away and I'm bummed about it. And... I'm whining about it here. :/

I finally bought some geraniums for my barrel out front. Now I hafta put them in.
