This is my first Mother’s Day without my mom. She passed in September 2025.

I think about her a lot and even more around the holidays. I wish she'd had a better life than she had. She's been gone 23 years now.

I've just had a wonderful talk with my middle son, at the end of which there was a package with a gift from my eldest who lives in Florida. Stickers by numbers books: one flower themed and one horror themed. He knows me so well!

Happy Mother's Day to my wife in Heaven. She was a wonderful mother and role model for our daughters. She did her job well--my three daughters are themselves great Moms. So Happy Mother's Day to them as well!
