What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

We Have A Ghost (Netflix) and I really enjoyed it. I watched it within 24 hours and that's unusual for me. It didn't hurt that Anthony Mackie (Marvel Universe), who I discovered I really like recently, is one of the stars or that the Jahi Winston, the young actor who played Kevin has such a cute, expressive face and played his part so well. He played Simba in The Lion King on Broadway.

Also David Harbour plays Ernest the ghost and has a non speaking part. It was nice seeing him again now that Stranger Things has ended. Kevin and Ernest, who becomes a viral sensation form an unlikely bond as they, along with Kevin's neighbor-friend try to find out what happened to Ernest, all while being chased by the FBI. The movie had some heartwarming scenes...in fact, I got teary eyed at the end. At some point, I'll watch this one again.

I had no idea what you were trying to say until I saw the name of the program in the video preview. My first reaction was how do you know you have a ghost on Netflix?

Crash........Netflix

Teenager/wanna be influencer crashers her car at a high rate of speed...killing her boyfriend and another male passenger. She has no remorse. Intentional.
Is there a Movie called "Crash" about the teenagers?
I found a documentary about the wreck on Tubi, and another movie called Crash not related to the teengers.

I canceled Netflix a long time ago but I do have other places to watch many Movies and TV shows.

Yes, but the one I'm speaking of is on NF. It's quite popular right now.
I think there was another titled Crash......but that was many years ago. Totally diff movie premise.

I am watching Shattered again for the 4-5th time. This is a 1991 psychological mystery thriller with a shocking beginning and plenty of twisty turns. None of the clues make any sense until the shocking revelation closer to the end.

I never tire of watching it and am always stunned that someone could do something like this to someone because of her own selfishness. I've never seen a movie nor read a book like this, but it is based on a book.

After a horrific car wreck leaves him an amnesiac, a man slowly begins to unravel his shocking past. (IMDB)

The film follows an architect who suffers from amnesia after a car accident and uncovers troubling truths about his past. (DuckDuckGo AI)

Shattered is a 1991 American psychological thriller film written and directed by Wolfgang Petersen, based on the novel by Richard Neely. The film stars Tom Berenger, Greta Scacchi, Bob Hoskins, Joanne Whalley and Corbin Bernsen. (Wikipedia)

Dan Merrick comes out from a shattering car accident with amnesia. He finds that he is married to Judith who is trying to help him start his life again. (Youtube Trailer Description)

It's free on Tubi.

It's free w/ads on Youtube.

When your memory has been taken, whom do you trust? Writer/director Wolfgang Petersen cranks up the suspense in this riveting thriller that will keep you guessing up until its shockingly unexpected ending. Stars Tom Berenger, Bob Hoskins, Greta Scacchi, Joanne Whalley and Corbin Bernsen breathe life into this gripping film noir about the survivor of a car accident who begins to suspect his near-death was no accident.

Dan Merrick (Berenger) struggles to reconstruct his life after an accident leaves him without much of a memory - and in the care of a wife (Scacchi) and his friends who seem to be repainting his past. And as Merrick begins to reconstruct his life, strange flashes of memory begin to surface, each drawing him further into a maze of corruption that could prove more deadly than any accident! Beautifully shot by the legendary Laszlo Kovacs and featuring the great character actor Theodore Bikel.

Brideshead Revisited Movie 2008

https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/brideshead-revisited-2008

It is a good movie and worth watching but I saw the old mini series in 1980's and it was much closer to the novel by Evelyn Waugh
If you're an Evelyn Waugh fan,I imagine that you've seen the dark comedy The Loved One (1965) based on Waugh's novel of the same name. It has a dream cast headed by John Gielgud, Jonathan Winters, Robert Morse, Rod Steiger, and many other luminaries. It lampoons the L.A. funeral industry.

If by chance you haven't seen it, I'll bet that you'd like it.

Just watched a clip on YouTube..yes would love to see that. ..thanks
I will be on watch for it

Brideshead was the only one I ever read...wishing now I had read more.

We tried watching Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, but it was so frickin' stupid, we only lasted about 1/2 an hour and then turned it off to watch the American Revolution documentary.

Sweet Surrender (1935), on YouTube. It was OK, a rather pat romance/farce. I watched it only because parts of it were shot on board the Normandie, and in that respect it did not disappoint.

Insomnia.
Psychological thriller. Al Pacino, Hillary Swank, Robin Williams. (2002)
Two LAPD detectives are sent to a remote Alaskan town to aid in the investigation of a horrific teen murder.
While closing in on the murderer, officer Will Dormer's (Pacino) partner is killed and officer Dormer is compromised by the calculated mind games of the primary suspect, Walter Finch. (Williams).
Sleep deprived and guilt ridden over his role in the death of his partner, Dormer must outmanoeuvre a brilliantly idealist local cop. (Swank)

Rental Family starring Brendan Frasier is on Hulu. Heartwarming but also tugs on the heart in spots. Frasier is good as a struggling American actor living In Japan who takes a uniquely Japanese job that involves some acting but not on stage or film. The slightly slow (despite the fact he is running to catch a subway he misses and is late for an audition) shows that he is lonely longing for connection. So the new gig not only makes him a living it helps him emotionally.

I really liked that movie. I did some investigating after watching it and learned these Rental Families are a real thing in Japan. Who knew???

Thanks for the link. I did have to search but was perfect black and white.
The humour is out of this world now as we know it...masterpiece.

I didn't catch all of the dialogue when they spoke fast and of course no captions and of course my old ears even with hearing aids are not topform.
