I like a tiger loaf

Egg bread. Absolutely the best with marmalade and/or peanut butter! Wait a sec......Raisin Bread. Absolutely the best with peanut butter, toasted. Would one include crumpets??? I REALLY like them....

I love bread but it's doesn't agree with me now so I don't eat much ... I like Tiger bread and waburton's seed bread as Furry and Wren posted, but my favourite is Irish Soda bread.. but of course nothing beats my Tomato and Parmesan bread that I occasionally make myself

Papppy, does Freihofers still exist? That was our bread etc in my childhood. In Albany NY. A horse drawn truck delivered around the neighborhoods & they sponsored some clownish 1/2 HR tv show for kids. Had a school field trip to see the stables, and when their shift was done the horse & wagon would go trotting along fast! Loved those soft horse noses. Great memory.

‘Yes, but not the one we remember. They have been sold so many times, the quality is gone. Now all the stockholders care about is how much they can make. I think a company called Bimbo owns them now.

Any bread I bake. I make mostly gluten-free loaves. When one needs a chemistry degree to properly pronounce the ingredients in store-bought baked goods, I'm sure that what's inside the plastic wrap can't be good for human consumption.

San Francisco sourdough French bread. Grew up on it,living a few minutes south of San Francisco. Now I`m living 3 hours away and we can`t get it here. Well, they try,but it`s not the same. Has to be made there. Also like the Hawaiin bread and love Panettone.

If you haven’t tried it, well, yer missin’ out

The bread I make myself, of course! My favorite for everyday that I make all the time is a whole wheat and oat bread with sunflower and sesame seeds. I cannot abide squisky bread -- IMO, good bread needs some body.

I find that bread making is good for the soul.
