I might add that it is custom in Korea for both sexes to use the same bathroom as I noted in 1963...

while stationed in southern Japan in early '52, I went to a Japanese bathhouse. There was screen between male and female areas......

I don't feel age is a factor for companionship. I always advise senior ladies, you are as beautiful as you want to be. When younger, females always were prim and proper. Why stop because you are now alone. Prim and proper in case a man gives you the eye. But never be too trusting............

There is a Salt Mine in Southern Germany. Not operational, only open to visitors (for a few coins) It was interesting..........

Low and behold in Korea there is only ONE bathroom for all labor Koreans. Don't know the lay out is as I never had the need to visit...... But, I think Hotels might have MALE/FEMALE due to tourist business...........never stayed at a hotel, so not sure....
