we had a houseful for Thanksgiving so we will only have 5 for Christmas Eve. We are all making appetizers, fingers foods, hors devours, lol, and just graze all the day away.

This year everyone thought it would be nice to have Thanksgiving at our home but they'd bring all the food here. DON'T DO THAT! :) I appreciated the thought but 10 people, a football game, a big dog, we honestly were exhausted. Ask your parents what they want to do!! They may like to stay...

Mattress is about 20 years old and still comfortable. Every so often we turn and flip it. Some newer ones you can't do that.

Today i bought myself a new breadmaker. Yeast and I don't get along but I had an old breadmaker that made great bread and rolls dough. It finally gave up and at 84 thought I'd not buy anymore kitchen appliances! BUT...I couldn't resist this little baby breadmaker. Compact, carrying handle...

so far about 3.5". It's been snowing since 8 am. Still predicting 6-10" by tomorrow morning. There are still piles of leaves in the streets, city fell behind picking them up! When the snowplow comes guess whose driveway will collect those leaves mixed with snow? 😡

I would work in the hair salon because I'd only have to know one style. Or be the "sunshine lady" who makes and distributes greeting cards to everybody who would like one.

i like a homemade burger fried in a skillet made with ground sirloin or ground round. Medium rare with a thick slice of fried sweet onion. Toast the sesame hard roll. No condiments.

We are stay-at-home retirees the last two years since we dont drive anymore. We each have our routines but start the day with coffee and deciding what well eat all day.
