we were able to get 2 remotes from our cable company. Since we only have 1 TV, a big screen one, when DH dozes off I quietly change the channel or mute the TV with my remote and...he promptly wakes up!? Why is that?

you know that rubberized shelf liner from Dollar Tree? It comes on a roll and in different colors. Cut off a hand sized piece, hold it in your hand and use it to open things! It's a god send to us. Works to open jars, caps, milk containers, frozen juice cans with the pull tab, etc.

I'm just curious, what keeps you busy? Do you do things with your hubby? Or do each of you have things that you enjoy independently kinda like it is with me and my husband. It works for us most of the time! 😀

That is so funny! My arms don't look that bad as long as I keep them down or waist level as in prayer. Raising them up whoo hee, yikes, where does that come from anyway? Gravity? However, my legs aren't creepy so I wear shorts quite a bit. I'm petite so regular shorts are just above my knees.

My eyesight also makes it hard to see unless there's good lighting plus I don't have a good sense of smell. Just want to have good conversation and enjoy the visit!

I love chicken wings! Mostly my own recipe that are breaded with bread crumbs and baked in the oven. Also can do BBQ, Korean sauce from wing stop, too. Not a fan of hot or spicy though.
