Saturday was 33 deg C, I didn't even go outside. Since then it's cooled down a little, although it was very humid this morning and rained later. It's now about 22 degrees according to the weather app.

yes, it's annoying - I had that free travel for all of 4 months between turning 60 and moving out of London. Also have the rail pass, which paid for itself when I was doing a lot of touring around but not more recently.
