Report cards were all handwritten and transcripts typewritten. No computers yet. In elementary school my two bad grades were always the same: deportment (talking in class, not sitting still, fighting bullies) and handwriting.
Guys wore blue and gold - s/s shirt and shorts with name of the school on both
Girls had a one piece (same style as OP) that was more yellow than gold. No school name.
You could tell some parents preferred using A LOT of bleach due to color fading.
We had PE five days a week. It was only...
Nobody. I almost ended up the 3rd, but my mother wasn’t having it. She picked a name that was popular in the 1950’s that nobody on either side of the family has.
About a year ago I gave up trying to text with thumbs. Too slow. I now dictate almost all of my text/writing. I give it a proof-read when complete. Does this mean I am a dictator?
I can still do it, but it serves no purpose. I started printing in high school because science lab-books were to be printed. I had many science classes. The habit took hold. College wanted typewritten papers only so I started composing on the typewriter.

We had a similar TV. The only difference was it was lighter wood to match the danish modern living room. It did have the doors. If the doors were closed that meant no TV for kids today.
Although my father wore a suit to work every day, the only time they were both dressed that way was just...
Not that I know of.
They didn’t talk about money to children though. I believe they thought it was improper.
My paternal grandmother though was another story. She stonewalled any attempt to learn about her family. I had to figure it out through public records research. Turns out she was an...
I don’t. Never liked the look and feel of them. It’s probably just a mental thing. I prefer Carhartt or Dickies work pants or a lighter material dress pant. I mostly wear hiking shorts. It’s warm/hot most of the year.
I like talking on the phone. That makes me the oddball among family and friends. They all prefer text. I am not very fast thumbing it on a phone so I use the voice dictation when texting. It’s a one-sided conversation. Ha!
