I should have thought to take one out of my hospital room window when i was there beginning of March. I was on 5th floor and Sandia Peak and it's foothills filled the huge windows. It was a comfort to have sun a moon rises as my view.

As for loneliness, while i sometimes miss certain individuals Including my long deceased parents and more recently passed two of my 4 siblings, as well as some friends who've died i don't get lonely. i tend to relish my alone time as it is when i 'recharge' so i can be fully present and enjoy...

The only time i've come close to being bored is in regularly scheduled "Staff Meetings" in employment settings. And the frustration over what actual work i could be getting done if not required to be there pushed the boredom aside.

May not be of interest or use to anyone else but i'm still trying to process the last 6 weeks. The first week was blurred by pain, the next week by strong painkillers. The rest have been physically, mentally and emotionally challenging. I was discharged from rehab on the 31st of March. So...

Well right now the same Home Health Care provider arranging a walker for me is looking into getting one for me. i may at some point get more. One for part of back that's upright when sitting and one for car, tho it will probably be a while before i drive anywhere outside our little town...

Does anyone here use those 'cool gel' seat cushions? You know the ones with a honeycomb structure that are supposed to distribute weight and return to original shape when you get up so they don't compress and get lumpy like regular ones? I'm thinking with where my back problem is, one of them...

Thank you, i thought about you because i thought i remembered you mentioning your injuries. Worst of it was in Sacral region, just below lumbar. Movement of legs caused stabbing pain in crotch area. But woke up in recovery with that gone.
