Potato Chips - what's your pleasure?

Unfortunately, I love all chips!:) A friend recently introduced me to the Baked Chips and I was surprised that they were actually good! But, as I said....I love them all.

Guess it's only fair to ask, How do you feel about women over 60 with SHORT hair?

Short hair for this over 60 woman. I'm on the go a lot so I have "wash and wear" hair. Fluff it up with fingers and/or blow dryer and I'm out of the apartment ASAP!

    Downton Abbey (movie)

I saw the movie this weekend and loved it! I have the entire TV series on DVD and have loaned them to many of my friends. (My daughters presented the set to me for a birthday present). When the talk first started about a movie, Maggie Smith said she wouldn't be in it so I made no plans to see...

Fans of Martin Clunes (Doc Martin)

I'll have to see that! He was a very interesting character as Doc Martin. I loved to hear him say "come through" to his patients. Thanks for the heads up..

    Guys: Do You Iron?

My Mom always ironed. She also cooked every meal. No fast food, take-out, not much eating out. I, on the other hand do all of those things. Most everything I wear is casual, very casual. I don't think my clothes would react well to something hot touching them. (Well, that's my theory and...

    Licking Cake Batter

I still lick the spatula! Actually, I think I recall dipping a BIG spoon full out and eating it...so the cake layers were a little small....LOL!

Bacon, lettuce, cheese, onion on toasted whole wheat. Pickle on the side. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot...baked chips.

Things from your childhood that would baffle young people of today

What a trip down memory lane. A set of encyclopedias was a treasure when I was "young" but now we have everything at our fingertips with our phones. (I still like the feel of paper in my hand!) My daughter presented me with a Nook a couple of years ago....I've used it but mostly so I could...

Anone read any Edward Rutherfurd books?

Recently started reading these books and I love them. Sarum was the first I read (long ago) and I think I've read all of his except Paris. I'm a lover of historical fiction and he sure writes it!! One word of warning, they are very large books so if you should try one, be prepared!

    New here with question!

I'm Jaquie and I'm new here. I need help with a Roth IRA. I've been told I could cash one in and if I repaid the money within 60 days I wouldn't be taxed on it. The best I can tell I should be able to do this since I'm over 59 1/2. Great to be here and hope I can find some help.
