I'm so old....

I do read a lot, but no I did not. In general, I don't mind if a movie doesn't match the book.

Just saw 'Hail Mary' at the cinema. I enjoyed it. 'The Martian' with Matt Damon a few years ago was a bit better, same writers.

It's crazy hot here! Average temp in Albuquerque on a typical March 21 is 65°. Yesterday hit 91°. They keep track each year of the first day it hits 80°, 90° and if it gets to 100°. The prior earliest day to hit 90° was May 4 (in 1947), 6 weeks into the year from now! It's been 15-25°...

I just watched the first episode of 'Young Sherlock' on Prime Video,a new series. Liked it a lot, going to be hard to not binge.

About 15 years ago my son bought 750 shares of AMD stock for $2/share. He just sold it for $200/share.

I've read the books too. Found out that though Bosch helps him in the books, Prime Video owns Bosch TV and Netflix owns Lincoln Lawyer TV, so they can't stick to the books.

Thanks for the advice... My resident son has a short beard, so the tools are already in the house, along with a teacher. Maybe I'll trim it before the meeting.

I just found this thread. I'll be 80 in April, never had a beard, stopped shaving completely two months ago, starting to look scruffy. After reading all this, the maintenance, the tools, conditioners, and the incessant lip tickling, I'm thinking it's not for me. In two days I have a meeting...
