Silly question? Probably, but I think it says something about the values that you grew up with. Do you have respect for what people have earned? I grew up around people who had lived during the great depression. When I see our society today, I think that I may have awoken on the wrong planet.

The "influencers" can only survive when a large enough section of society believes that what they say or is of value.

I'm mostly English. I have a German Jewish great - great grandfather who fought in a Virginia militia Company during the Revolutionary war. I consider myself as a simple Hillbilly.

I want people to like me if I respect them. I don't like people that I don't respect. I don't respect people who are willing to exploit other people to gain unfair advantage over them. If the people that I don't respect don't like me then I don't I don't care.

Maybe people will stop becoming police officers. That should prevent situation from happening again. Never lose hope.

I am crazy, though I typically define myself as not right. Sometimes I make myself laugh so it's not all that bad.

You must have seen a lot of ports. I asked a retired Coast Guard if he was ex Navy. He wasn't happy with me.

I programmed Zeiss, Mitutoyo, and Hexagon CMMs. I went back to work for a short while at a plastics injection molding plant. GDT is not well suited to plastics in my opinion. I felt unethical so I quit. I felt like I was living on the wrong planet when dealing with my coworkers.
