In the past 10 days my car battery went flat, I spilled a drink on my lap top and totally wrecked it and I dropped a brand new mobile phone and broke it beyond repair. I have replaced all three and am hoping that's the end of the bad luck for the time being.

As I post this my daughter is flying home for a three week visit. I am never scared when I'm flying but I go through agony when my loved ones are in the air. Going to be a long night.

I taped it because my daughter was a guest..........not even a glimpse of her. This is one she sent me later. She was in a corporate box far away from the entertainers.

My daughter normally lives very close to Sydney Harbour where it never snows so she's loving it.
