We get ours in October. I resisted for many years, then I got the flu..........it hung on for about a month. So because DH has diabetes and because I never wanted to be that sick again I decided to get the shot.
We got lucky tonight, our son made us taco's for dinner. Getting good taco's here is impossible, so every so often he makes them for us! We do so enjoy them.
I got a phone call the canned voice told me that 2 large amounts had been put on my visa card. I hung up. After I hung up I had to laugh we have no Visa card chopped it up years ago.In fact they owe us a large amount of 7 cents. They send us a notice every month.
We too live in a 55+ community, and pretty rural, we used to get about 20 kids (grandchildren of residents)then a couple of years ago it got to be too difficult for us, so we just turned the lights off and did nothing. Now that our son is here to help us he might want to do Halloween again.
I do not watch scary movies! The scariest movie I ever saw was Night Of The Hunter, with Robert Mitchum and Shelly Winters, and a couple of very talented young kids.
