What is your favorite part of a chicken to eat and enjoy?

This video shows what a chicken (or rooster) is really like. Like cows, chickens are truly awesome animals with a soul. Go ahead and call me a tree hugger or whatever, but please watch the video first (only 3 minutes).

    The "All Linux" thread

Distro hopping again (normal for me):) I am trying Bodhi Linux which I have used before and liked. I am using my Asus Vivobook which is a low spec Celeron n4000 (dual core, 4 GB of memory, 64 GB emmc storage, 11.6" 1360 x 768 display). It has never ran Windows, brand new it was reloaded...

Possibly the most credible UFO/alien encounter in history

I think physics pretty much makes interstellar travel impossible for biological beings, human or aliens. If something actually made it to earth it would likely be robotic in nature. And why would a robot travel all that way to see a bunch of dumbass humans?

    The "All Linux" thread

Here is a fantastic Walmart deal for a good Linux laptop. It comes with Windows 11 and 4 GB of ram, how would that even work? But 4 GB is plenty for Linux;) Robot or human?

Choosing to spend more time alone as I grow older

I don't think it's just me, it seems a lot of older people prefer more alone time compared to when they were younger?

You might be old if... (actually, since this is the Senior forum I bet everyone will get at least 9).

Everything but Myspace. So I guess I'm old. Did anyone collect bottles and cash them in at the corner store to buy candy?

What will be your last thoughts?

I'm sure it's not very realistic, but I always thought giving my life to save someone else's would be the ultimate way to die. Your last thoughts would be about someone else, not yourself.

I watched an Uber driver drop off food at someone’s front door

The majority of the UberEats orders I deliver are "leave at door" with instructions not to ring bell or knock. When I mark the order completed on my phone the customer is notified through their app. The customer's app instructs them not to call the driver if the order is incomplete or wrong...

    When Our Devices Become Obsolete

Batteries and operating systems are designed to become obsolete on Android devices.

    Is anyone beginning to Prep?

I have enough solar to subsist with zero electricity. At least 30 days of non perishable food and plenty of water stored. Firearms and plenty of ammo. Our infrastructure is highly dependent on technology. Any type of failure or natural disaster means you're shit out of luck. We don't have...

    The "All Linux" thread

Here is a really cool alterate operating system. It's called Haiku and isn't Linux based, but I didn't think it would get enough attention to start it's own thread. Hardware including wifi worked just fine on my Inspiron 3180, played around the live USB boot and found it very interesting...

Google is limiting Android to Play Store only

According to some sources Google doesn't inspect every app before allowing it on the Play Store. If a software developer has a long history with Google their software is just let right in without an official "inspection". This has resulted in serious issues more than once.
