Living alone during the pandemic and dealing with the isolation.

I thank you for your concern, like I said, I struggle everyday but I manage to do what I have to do to get by. I spend a lot of time reading historical romance novels. I used to paint, but I now have bursitis so bad that I can't anymore. I do manage to get by, eating, washing clothes and...

Living alone during the pandemic and dealing with the isolation.

I read Historical Romance novels, they are so fanciful and always have a happy ending. Some have mystery plots, and action stuff, but the main theme is the love story and they get pretty descriptive and steamy. They deal with the politics and wars that were going on in Scotland and England and...

Living alone during the pandemic and dealing with the isolation.

I actually talked to my son about checking on me regularly. I said, I don't want to be one of those people who die and no one knows it until I start to stink!

I wish that I could say that I am not depressed, but I am. I struggle with it everyday. I don't want to do anything, like bathe, clean my house, ANYTHING! I have to push myself to do the bare minimum. So, I guess, I am trying to say that despite your circumstances, you are holding up pretty...

    Mice in the walls

I use mouse traps, and it has been very effective. I also live in a mobile home, but I believe that they get in through heating ducts that are not being used. I have never had them in the walls, they are usually in the house, looking for food.

NYC Is Going to Fine People Not Wearing Masks

Some people are just stupid and unteachable. He must not work as hard for his money as I have in my life time. A speeding ticket to me is the biggest waste of money that I can imagine. I have always driven the speed limit because of the waste of money on tickets.

Do you remember believing authority and integrity were synonymous with one another?

I do remember and I wasn't a child, it used to mean something. I also remember in believing in our institutions. If the CDC said something, I believed it! Now I realize that it is being run by politics and can no longer be trusted. the point of our government structure was checks and balances...

Small events add up to a lot': Limited gatherings quietly emerge as source of coronavirus infections

People want to pretend that it is not happening, but it is happening. I just had to make a choice last week about my job, they basically said, very nicely, come back work or we have to replace you, so, I am no longer employed permanently, now. I don't see my family either. My son and...

Updated CDC guidelines now say people exposed to coronavirus may not need to be tested.

With 40% of positive coronavirus patients, able to spread the disease, but having no symptoms, they are no longer suggesting testing of people exposed but without symptoms. So, I guess, no more contract tracing either, it will completely be a waste of time. The CDC is now completely under the...

Updated CDC guidelines now say people exposed to coronavirus may not need to be tested.

Becky, you are correct that is what it says. Our CDC, has lost it's independence and become a political agency, not health oriented agency anymore. It can no longer be trusted.

I don't know where you get the information you just posted. My doctors aunt, died of covid, passed to her from an asymptomatic family member.

Updated CDC guidelines now say people exposed to coronavirus may not need to be tested.

I believe you are mistaken. I believe what you posted, is the old suggestions, not the new ones. They are now saying if you have been exposed for 15 mins or more with in 6 ft of person with covid, but have no symptoms, you do not need to be tested.

Outraged at CDC's new testing guildlines!

With 40% of positive coronavirus patients, able to spread the disease, but having no symptoms, they are no longer suggesting testing of people exposed but without symptoms. So, I guess, no more contract tracing either, it will completely be a waste of time. The CDC is now completely under the...
