Railman

Widowed seven years after 44 years of marriage. 0ur only child died of a heart attack a few months after my wife at age 40. I love being around people, but I need my own space. Photography, Music, Model Railroad and travelling are my loves in life. Fortunately my wife and I had activities that over lapped, and we would put up with those that didn't. Last year I sold our house and moved into a senior's residence. It has helped to reduce my loneliness. I had great plans, but Covid has buggered them up. I don't have it, but restrictions are a bugger. My grandchildren are a long way away, so I see them twice a year now. I have spent Christmas and other major holidays alone since my wife died.
