When is the right time to change a freezer? Do I leave it until it breaks down and I lose everything, or do I replace it while it's still working perfectly well?
For me, I gave up Windows years ago. I'm a Linux Mint person now, and I love it. No endless updates, it works quickly, reliably, simply and no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.
Personally, I have found that the MRI staff are really not helpful at all - which surprises me really. Mind you, if these scans really have to be done, perhaps there is not much they can say.
The nurse just tells me to close my eyes, but it doesn't work for me - I know it's still there. But some have a mirror so seeing out is possible, but I completely lose track of time. Wish they had a visible clock.
I think that is an interesting point actually. So many tests and scans etc. are done, but the treatment is no different or even none at all, which we may already have been aware of. Perhaps they just enjoy torturing us?
Yes, I have heard of some people actually going to sleep. I should be able to do that, and will try - 'cos sleeping with my wife's snoring is always good practice. :-)
I have managed to find a local hospital that has a scanner which is 'more open' than the old ones, so not quite so bad. But I still struggle with it, and I find that music just makes the noise worse. Quite honestly I dread the things.
