I know exactly what you mean. Back in '08 we moved into Grandma's house after she went to the nursing home. She had a wooden walkway built to bring groceries, etc. in on a cart. Everyone who ever was there in the winter knows by experience!

We had emergency help called several times this winter when Dad was having issues, the sidewalk was slick and so the crews put down salt (heavily) and now it is breaking up so bad it's like gravel now. Mom is concerned that so much salt is on or around the sidewalk that it may affect pouring...

I wish more guys in my area were like that. I went to a old car event a couple years ago, alone. My "friend" and I had words, he was someone I was friends with in my teens/early 20s, he has drastically changed. Pure Narcissist. I used to go with him to those events, but I'm getting used to...

So glad you got it taken care of early enough... take care Irish, our best thoughts are with you. Even Spooky calmed down as I type this lol... she's been bouncing off the wall all night.

I bought another Bottle of Vitamins online this morning. Cost me $15 shipping, but if I went to get them in-store (35-ish miles away, they would likely not have the variety I like in stock. They used to keep a reasonable stock, but like everywhere else nowadays they only sell what they are sent...

Yep. I married a woman who had two kids by the Jerk. If I could go back, that would not happen. NOPE! If you look up the word Jerk in the Dictionary, his picture should be the example. Very good at his craft.

This subject reminds me of a comic I found hilarious, in one of Dad's "magazines" I snuck out of his shop when I was a young teen. The comic showed an Airliner with the Trojan name and symbol painted on the side, and they were unloading and offering their goods in what I think was Africa. Me...

I have known guys who made it work, question is how much of the relationship with their lady or the family structure everyday will the men have to give up in order to have a wife? We've had enough exposure over the past five decades to what divorce and discord does to families to know better...
