I like looking back too.

I like the leds. Soft white in the normal living areas. Bright white in the sewing room, the basement and the garage. I really like them in the garage because the fluorescent lights would flicker in the cold.

Wood paneling was an upgrade. The 1st couple of houses when I was growing up had some kind of thin wallboard that had taped seams and then just painted.

Retirement means that you have the option to do what gives you purpose. If you enjoy your job and like being around those people, by all means, keep doing it. Whatever you decide to do, have purpose. I know a CPA who loves helping people and community. He's still pushing numbers at 96.

I have used a ledger book since the 90s. I can just open it to see what I've paid and how much, what is still due and what's coming up including the bills that are every 6 months or yearly.

I would go to your bank and ask to see a credit counselor. They may have some options that are less risky.
