Crazy as this seems, I've seen it happen a few times.

The education between Scotch and Bourbon is interesting, but alas, no matter which or the brand name, they all tasted like cold medicine to me.

They do seem to notice when something's out of the ordinary. I use mine a lot for ordering parts. It seems once a year they catch a fraudulent charge and I get a new card.

No smart phone. I barely know how to use a flip. I'd likely break it anyway with the hobbies that I have. I shove the flip in my pocket only when leaving the house (for emergencies). When we travel, my wife uses her smart phone for navigating.

I'll take this over what our friends south of us are going to get. I'll have to blow 3 more times before this storm is over. Next round I'll clean off the garage roof too.

Not in the sand. Can't do much about it anyway. Of the sources I watch, I only pay attention to the parts that can affect our lives. Right now, weather, stock market, social security and inflation are the big ones.

Seeking Alpha, Reuters, Aljazeera, PBS, BBC and Factcheck. I also breeze the headlines on the Yahoo home page, but pay attention to who the feed is from.

I used to play in much younger days. I was learning Scruggs style, then almost losing my index finger at work, I finally gave up. I could pick it up again in a different style but, far too busy now. I still very much enjoy listening to it though.

I've always thought they should have a semester of personal finance in high school to prepare for adult life. A person could then recognize the mistakes they are making and how it will affect them later in life.

So true. I know more than a few people that lived beyond their means through life. Spent it all. Now, in retirement, they have an angry personality.

I tend to look at things that most people think is boring. I read over company financial reports, pay attention to geopolitical events and history. In light of the current events, I think back to '73 and '79. The events those years caused global inflation. Could it happen this time? Geared...

Just looking into history on how this may affect us. I'm thinking 1973 oil embargo and 1979 Iranian revolution. Oil prices skyrocketed and global inflation went out of control. When everything levels out, the new higher prices are the norm. Of course there are always other factors involved and...

The difference is.....we can all afford bouillon.
