Think I may have posted this link to the 1720 house in Martha's Vineyard, where we rented from Willam Randolph Hearst's niece, for $90/mo., back in the late 1950's, early 1960's. We could have bought for $30,000, but who had $30,000? The 1720's House Anyway, it's now a BnB... and you can rent...

OMG.... hits a nerve.... Back in the days of Napster, I was the most enthusiastic freeloader. Have 12 of those 7 inch DVD cases... maybe a thousand DVD's? Found a lady in our CCRC who listens, and offered them to her. No... and she hasn't spoken to me since. What I do have is a few hundred...

A 737 costs about $90 Million. there are more than 400 completed planes sitting idle. Production was 52 planes/month. Watch as the growth of the airline industry draws to a standstill, as replacements don't keep up with the loss of older planes. The trickle down effect on the entire airline...

Add to that the space vehicle failure. Right now, no light at the end of the tunnel. Boeing employees total over 150,000... add to that the number of parts suppliers, and the dependent airlines.... ...and the combined debt for the industry.... could be a problem, eh?

At 84, with 31 years of retirement, and 61 years of a happy marriage, jeanie and I look to every new day as a blessing. Thankful for reasonably good health, a warm, safe home and a worry free financial position... Always looking forward to tomorrow.

We were listening to the radio. Waiting for the President to speak. My dad and mom, sitting at the kitchen table and me playing with my toys. How are memories created? A vivid picture to this day. I was 5 years old, but can remember as if it were yeterday. Never saw my mom cry before...

Age 84 and drive every day, but notthe joy it used to be. I'll do 1o miles on the interstate, just to get used to driving at 70. In our CCRC, Kelly still drives daily at age 100. He's our go guy for dougnuts at the Friday coffee clatch. At least four more who are in their mid 90's and go...

My grandfather Tom, and grandmother Tillie on his Harley Davidson. The year was 1911. I know because that's my mom who was born then. Imagine, 108 years ago. :)
