Surely this is a joke! 😱

My aunt used to get her deceased dogs stuffed. That was creepy. Then she ran out of room in her house and started having them cremated, and displayed their urns.

In case you suspected, she wasn't a serial pet-killer, she just always adopted elderly dogs. They had very nice lives and were well loved toward the end of their lives. But stuffing them and setting them around the house is still creepy.

That must have been very expensive I would think?
 
I know people who have had their dogs or cats cremated and then the urn or memorial box displayed - on a shelf where you can see it, which I guess is 'displayed'
That seems ok to me - although I havent done it myself, I just display a photo.

I did see a jokey meme the other day which I would actually seriously consider doing - put some of your loved ones ashes in a minute timer so they can still be part of games nights - we have a lot of family games nights and I would get some pleasure in part of Mum or Dad still being there.

Some people might think that is sick - but really no different to making the ashes into a pendant or similar.

People who get their pets stuffed after death is not common. But it happens, I've watched a documentary about what people do with their deceased pets.

My man knows who I am on this forum and is ok with me. He respects my privacy but I’m ok with him checking up on me. I’m not doing anything wrong. Our relationship is fairly even.
Usually he gets his way but only cause I let him. lol

My wife knows that I read and write here in this forum since the beginning. And I let read her often some of the comments. But she is not much interested in the forum, that's the only reason. "I'm glad she doesn't read in this forum, otherwise this might happen to me after my death" was a joke.
