IS "Cheating" is a sign of adult ADHD?

Did I dream this or did anyone else see this advertised "symptom"? IF so, any thoughts or ideas?

When I read that I thought the same thing, @-Oy- and "That is dumping total responsibility for one's actions!"

I also read a recent study by a psychologist wh write that so many kids are MISdiagnosed:
"As an excuse they can't be parented or parents don't want to realize parenting kids is hard; that and there is no recess anymore so kids can get pent up energy out; sitting on computers makes kids worse. Kids are not taught self discipline or consequences.

And what does that proof? Another shrink having an opinion.

@Twostep Another thing, is I was surprised to read a psychologist who was turning the "ADHD" table! For a long time, we've heard so much about the reason kids are this or that is that "they have ADHD". It was as if there was an epidemic of ADHD or ADD! Now I read that new "opinion" from this newer trained psychologist who says it may NOT be?? Felt like...when did THIS turnaround in diagnosis happen with kids?

I was diagnosed with ADHD the year Dr. Aman launched his practice in 1989. I felt extremely fortunate that my parents were ahead of their time and that my father recognized himself in me. I received an eight-day diagnosis and another in 2005. I have Ring of Fire ADHD, and I can assure you that cheating is not a sign. I enjoy having ADHD and am grateful that I am outside the "norm". I believe that cheating is simply a part of someone's attitude or character, and it is a negative trait.

cheating is a sign of boredom and the desire of feeling wanted and important again. Or you could be horny? Why are men and women limited to one sexual partner according to society? There were concubines in the Bible and prostitution is legal in certain parts of the US.
The deciding factor of so called cheating resides in the commitment of celibacy between two individuals who pledge themselves to each other.

Personally, I wish society were more open-minded to the individual needs of sexuality between consenting adults. I am married and I love my wife however, our needs are not the same at this stage of our lives together. If society viewed sex as a healthy activity rather than the unspoken acts of perverts and degenerates, perhaps there would be approved sex clinics for ordinary people to attend for health and wellbeing.

Society is not mature enough to recognize the benefits of sex in a clinical sense of the word. It wouldn't be cheating if society met this demand as a natural activity among adults.

I don't know. Maybe. I've always thought of it as a way to hurt your partner, but there are probably other reasons. ADHD seems like a stretch in any case.
