What insignificant things bug you?

Littering.........including cigarette butts.
I remember back in the 60s and 70s, when smoking was mainstream, all of the intersections were full of cigarette butts. People would take the opportunity to throw out their butts while they were stopped and it was not unusual to see the occasional pig empty the ashtray right there in the street. Nasty!

People who say 'irregardless'.

Cretins!

Just curious, what about it bugs you? It's in Webster's dictionary and several others that I looked at online. Some list it as non-standard but all list is as a valid word, meaning the same as regardless.
Webster's is not an English dictionary. No, irregardless is not the same as regardless. Can you find "duh" too?

Are you making a difference between English (American) and English (British)? Irregardless, it's listed as an English dictionary and includes the word irregardless, albeit as nonstandard.

I bet I can sell you a set of square tires.

In what instance would the word irregardless need to be used instead of regardless?
That can be said of several words, one that grates on me is "anyways", not sure why that word is plural when it begins with "any." People seem to be mangling the English language more than ever these days. The grammar and spelling on-line is often very low level.

Packaging.

Preparing dinner tonight, I had to open three packages that had "tear here" places on the packet but that I thought I was going to have to go out to the garage and fire up the chain saw to open.

Harrrumph.....
And the older you get the more difficult it becomes. I have a scissors handy in the kitchen for that reason.

About 90 percent of sounds bug me.
Since I have some fairly serious hearing loss -- not enough to be deaf, but enough to be a PITA for normal hearing people -- I cannot stand loud, protracted sounds from all sorts of sources. To wit, bars, restaurants, yard work, you name it. If you're part of said sounds, my first reaction is to tell you to GTFO -- not interested in what you have to say about anything.

spitting on the side walk and seeing anyone do it bugs me, although insignificant to many.
Visit Nepal where men spit and blow snot straight onto the ground every 20 to 30 seconds. I know ..... you think I'm exaggerating. I'm not. On the other extreme you've got Singapore where spitting and chewing gum are illegal.
