Doesn't anyone like Little Debbie Snacks?

I bout 2 boxes of these and brought them to 3 different public functions. Only one was taken. I ended up having to eat 15 snack cakes!

Don't want to post anything negative, just thought.
Maybe next time you visit your doctor you can discuss the weight issue you say you have. Explain to him your reason for eating 15 little Debbie birthday cakes & see what your doctor thinks.

(200 calories and 20 grams of sugar).

20 grams of sugar can be considered a lot, especially when considering daily recommendations. The American Heart Association recommends no more than 25 grams of added sugar per day for women

I enjoyed some of them years ago.

I remember oatmeal creme sandwiches, glazed dunking sticks, brownies, etc…

If I was a young mom on a budget, that was sinking for the third time, I would buy them as an inexpensive treat for my kids and sadly that’s the problem. Healthier treats like grapes and mandarin cuties are out of reach for many.

I have three theories:
  • Many people are now too effete to settle for something so plebian.
  • Others load up on these all day, so they seem less than special to them.
  • They just about died passing these up, but they want to pretend they only eat healthy foods.
I'll bet a bowl full of bunches of grapes would be ignored just as much.

Its no ones fault that we were marketed into thinking that Little Debbie couldn't possibly harm us. She's an adorable little girl, after all. Unfortunately, those snacks are very unhealthy. I know you hate to waste Deb.

Have you priced Debbie Cakes lately? You get a net of mandarines or a bag of apples for the same price. They are convenient and sweet. The ingredient list is intimidating.
