Went For a Coffee With Gal I Dated 40 Years Ago

We pretty much picked up right where we left off. We laughed, we cried...we were both amazed at how fast the time just flew by. It was fun. We are both a few pounds heavier and a bit greyer...but it went well.

I said during our conversation..."You're 25, then in a blink, you are 55!" She couldn't have agreed more.

We'll keep in touch periodically.

Well, I arrived early and got a hot chocolate and was sitting outside on the Patio. She showed up and said she would be back in a bit as she was going to order her own coffee.

She went in and took forever and when she finally joined me at the outside table I said, "We you taking hostages?"

Then we both laughed!
