My daughter is living and working in the Netherlands, and we do sometimes talk on the phone, and normally, she calls me. Since we both have an iPhone, most of the time we use FaceTime Audio to talk with each other, so it is not actually a cellphone call.
Because of the time difference, mostly we just text back and forth, that way we can communicate according to our schedules.
My husbandās brother lives in Germany, so we talk with him occasionally, and he has some kind of connection that works with his German call phone to connect with a number he has in the US. Now, he usually calls with FaceTime also because it is much more convenient.
