That's ms gamboolgal sat on my knee about 46 year ago.
I had gone on Days Off while Roughnecking for Delta Drilling Company in East Texas and just drove in to her / Folks house straight from the Rig.
Pic below is us from two year ago.
Since retiring from the Oilfield in 2021, my favorite thing to do in Retirement is still what my favorite thing was to do back in 1979....and that's chasing ms gamboolgal around the old 4 Poster Buck Neckid.... 🥰
She would have been 17 year old then, just the blink of an eye ago....

For my mid-life crisis, instead of a little red sports car, I gave myself singing lessons. After 4 years my teacher decided to move back to Sweden, and she convinced me to give a personal recital before she left. For some unknown reason, I decided to hire a caricature artist to make this drawing to use on the cover of my recital program. I have loved it it ever since and use it wherever I need a profile picture. Of course, now the hair and beard are gray/white - but I still like it.

I found mine by googling children's coloring pages.

Admired this lovely daisy, opened it with paint, and colored it.

And Voila....there you have it. I'm a simple kind of gal.... :)
@Seeker! If you are reading this, I’m wondering what happened to you. You were always humorous and a good sport. I really miss you and am sure others do also.
I hope life finds you well.

Lovely photos. ♥
Would you explain Gambool / Gamboolman? I've often wondered about your screen name's meaning.

StarSong,
I like to play Poker and my handle on the online computer Poker sites was gamboolman.
So we use gamboolman and ms gamboolgal.
In retirement, I still like to play in Poker tournaments and a little bit of Cash games. Just for fun, nothing outrageous.

Bearded Dragon
I came across this one at Mt Dale in the early morning.
Being cold blooded, they need the heat of the sun to become active after sleeping overnight.
They like to be up high so they can scan their surrounds, allowing them to see predators, prey and potential breeding mates.
They can run surprisingly fast and have no trouble climbing trees.
They hibernate in the winter in a state called torpor (a state of physical or mental inactivity)
The female lays a clutch of around 10 to 30 eggs in a burrow, which is then filled to hide the nest.
They eat fruits and leaves, ants and beetles and small vertebrates, including other lizards.
When there is no water to be had, rivers or puddles, during light rain, this lizard will stand on its front limbs, its head and tail sloping down so that water runs towards its mouth. They’re said to hold this position for 30 minutes at a time!

LOL - I get it now... gambool as in gamble. That homonym never crossed my mind. Thanks for the explanation!
