Ditto. I also have an oscillating fan to create noise and help keep me cool. It’s not the least bit noisy where we live. In fact, it’s tad too quiet. The fan creates some neutral noise. No!
I sleep, year round, with an ordinary oscillating fan that provides a nice breeze and creates a form of white noise that helps to block out the sounds of the city.
The one advertised had..

Waterfall

Well, I don't have a fan. Melatonin upsets my tummy and makes me want to vomit but I still thank God for the folks for whom made Trazadone. Praise, praise and more praise.I have one that helped me a lot for a couple of years.
I had expected that I'd love the rain or other water sounds, but it was the white noise that I settled on.
I haven't used it for a few years now.
I think that I then had a small fan for a while, till it broke.
And for 2 months each year, now, I have the fan of the a/c.
I've finally started taking melatonin and meds, because sleep is so essential for my health, but my meds don't work as well as some of the other posters.![]()
I listen to old radio dramas, but I make sure only one plays and then silence. Also, I play them on my iPad with the cover closed so there no extra light.A good radio or tv mystery and I'm out.
Amen! I took Ambien for a while and had some negative "episodes". When my mother was in assisted living they gave her Trazadone to sleep. I started taking it a few years ago and it works like a charm!Well, I don't have a fan. I'll usually fall asleep w/the TV on.
